  • Publication number: 20030111631
Abstract: A leakproof ball valve structure includes a valve body, two side covers, a ball, two leakproof assemblies, and a central shaft. Each of the two leakproof assemblies includes a retaining ring, a seal ring, a leakproof ring, a washer, and an elastic member. The fitting portion of the retaining ring is serially provided with the leakproof ring, the washer, and the elastic member. Thus, the elastic force of the elastic member will not be reduced due to pressure, thereby enhancing the leakproof effect of the ball valve and the lifetime of the elastic member.

  • Publication number: 20020185625
Abstract: A leakproof ball valve structure includes a body receiving a ball that is driven by a central shaft. A leakproof assembly is respectively mounted between the body and a side cover. The leakproof assembly includes a retaining ring having a first end formed with a flange closely fit in the body, and a second end formed with a fitting portion rested on the side cover, and a seal ring secured in the retaining ring and urged on the ball. The fitting portion of the retaining ring is serially provided with a leakproof ring, a washer, and an elastic. Thus, the elastic force of the elastic member will not be reduced due to pressure, thereby enhancing the leakproof effect of the ball valve and the lifetime of the elastic member.
