  • Publication number: 20230034560
Abstract: A collision detection device on a motor vehicle for tracking a remote target vehicle for the detection of an imminent collision by fusing radar sensor data from a first environment sensor designed as a radar sensor with sensor data from a second environment sensor. First wheel acquisition data based on the radar sensor data from the first environment sensor and second wheel acquisition data based on sensor data from the second environment sensor are merged and a parameter of the target vehicle is established.

  • Patent number: 9995822
Abstract: A disclosed collision detection system for a vehicle includes a radar sensor mounted to the vehicle proximate that is capable of detecting objects in proximity to the vehicle, and at least one component at least partially defining a cavity. The cavity is at least partially filled by a material that modifies a portion of radar energy emitted from the radar sensor and transmitted back to the radar sensor.

  • Patent number: 9975471
Abstract: A driver assistance system for controlling a high beam, including an environment detecting device. At least one radar or lidar sensor system as well as a camera sensor system are provided for detecting the environment in front of the vehicle. A control signal for a high beam controller or warning device is generated when the high beam is active and at least one sensor system for detecting the environment simultaneously detects a potentially dazzled object.

  • Patent number: 8493058
Abstract: A device and a method for frequency analysis. The frequency of an output signal is divided, and an auxiliary signal with a known frequency is subtracted from the low-frequency signal to define a low-frequency differential signal. The output frequency is determined on the basis of the frequency of the low-frequency differential signal.

  • Publication number: 20020079974
Abstract: In the previously known methods for tuning the PLL circuit, the loop filter has to be discharged again if the PLL circuit does not lock in. During this time, also known as dead time, the PLL circuit cannot detect any signals. With the new method, the PLL circuit can also detect signals during the discharge period of the loop filter. This avoids dead times and the signal detection by the PLL circuit is substantially accelerated. The data throughput is increased, especially when used in high-frequency applications such as, for example, in the field of mobile telephones.
