The control unit has: a base plate having one or more media transport lines of the distributor network, which extend at least in sections in the plane of the base plate; and one or more functional blocks having an internal piping and one or more control elements having a functional connection thereto. The functional blocks are configured to be installable on the base plate so that the internal piping has a fluid connection to one or more of the media transport lines, and to be detachable from the base plate.

Abstract: An apparatus for straightening metal strips, including a first, upper group and a second, lower group of straightening rollers arranged in each case immediately in succession in a strip running direction, and a group of individually controllable actuators arranged alongside one another in a transverse direction. An axial bending profile of at least a first of the straightening rollers is settable by the group of actuators. At least one second group of individually controllable actuators arranged alongside one another in the transverse direction is provided. An axial bending profile of the least a second of the straightening rollers, which is in particular different from the bending profile of the first bending roller, is settable by the second group of actuators.

Abstract: The invention relates to a rolling mill (1) comprising several rolling frames (Fi) and support plates (7) that are provided on the operator side (BS) of the frames (Fi) and can be displaced transversally to the roll axes, said plates being equipped to receive sets of working rolls (14) and lying adjacent to the mill floor (9). The mill also comprises pits (8) that are situated on the operator side (BS) upstream of each frame (Fi), the bottom of said pits being configured to deploy sets of support rolls (12). The aim of the invention is to reduce the time required to exchange the rolls.
