  • Patent number: 5558229
Abstract: An assembly comprising a plurality of dispensers, each dispenser having a plurality of compartments, and a tray selectively receiving the plurality of dispensers in a row, the tray having a length and opposite ends along the length, the dispensers being arranged along the length of the tray, the dispensers and the tray having interengaging opposed surfaces which both in combination permit sliding of the dispensers within the tray and along the length of the tray, and which restrain transverse removal of the dispensers from the tray except for at least one dispenser located at one of the ends of the tray, so that a user can discern based on the restraint whether the user is attempting to remove the one endmost dispenser or another dispenser from the tray.

  • Patent number: 4416775
Abstract: A filter assembly or unit having end caps or fittings which are held together by tie rods with a filter casing between them and sealed to them. A filter cartridge is within the casing. Each end fitting or cap is constructed to provide a slideway to receive a sliding member that seals to the end fitting and which sealing engages an end of the filter casing. The sliding members can be secured to the end fittings. The sliding members along with the filter casing can be removed laterally from the assembly, the end fittings or caps remaining coupled in an air or gas line containing fluid to be filtered. In this manner the cartridge or cartridges can be replaced in the filter casing without uncoupling the end fittings from the an air or gas line and without disassembling the cage formed by the end fittings and the tie rods.

  • Patent number: 4403462
Abstract: A dispensing container or box for pills or capsules having multiple individual compartments, which can be individually opened for extracting or dispensing a pill or capsule. The individual compartments are formed by partitions within the container. A top or cover is provided which is initially integral and which provides a plurality of tabs arranged so that an individual tab covers each compartment, the tabs being attached to the cover by a frangible part that can be manually broken free. Each tab is provided with means in the form of a depending rib shaped to snugly fit into the top of its respective compartment to provide an air tight fit. Latching detent means are provided as between the integral cover and the container so that when the cover is positioned it cannot be taken off or removed from the container.

  • Patent number: 4084695
Abstract: A clear plastic pillbox having an intermediate longitudinal channel and lateral partitions which form a multiplicity of compartments therein for storage and convenient dispensing of medicament tablets. The pillbox is sealed by a clear plastic cover having a plurality of slots through its surface which form peripheral seals around the projections of the lateral partitions above the sidewalls of the pillbox and thus individual sealing tabs are provided for each of the compartments created by the longitudinal channel and lateral partitions. The individual sealing tabs are frangible and may be broken away to provide access to particular compartments, which may be pre-loaded by pharmacists with medicament tablets or doses of medication for scheduled use.

  • Patent number: 4071065
Abstract: A one-piece container formed as an injection molding preferably from polypropylene. The single piece is molded in preformed sections joined by thinner portions or parts of material which serve as hinges, the sections being relatively moveable about these parts. The sections are preformed to constitute portions of a container along with a closure for the container so that when the sections are moved about joint parts a complete container with a closure cover is formed. Preferably the container has inwardly extending flexible members formed on at least one section to engage an article within the container to retain it in position. The container is particularly adapted for use with calculators.
