  • Publication number: 20220154696
Abstract: A nacelle for a wind turbine and a method for erecting a wind turbine are disclosed. The nacelle comprises a main unit arranged to be connected to a wind turbine tower, via a yawing arrangement, and at least one side unit mounted along a side of the main unit in such a manner that direct access is allowed between the main unit and the side unit(s), each side unit accommodating at least one wind turbine component, and at least one side unit being capable of carrying the wind turbine component(s) accommodated therein. The main unit and at least one of the side unit(s) are distributed side by side along a substantially horizontal direction which is substantially transverse to a rotational axis of a rotor of the wind turbine. A sufficient interior space of the nacelle is obtained while allowing the nacelle to be transported due to the modular construction. The weight of the wind turbine components is arranged close to the tower due to the transversal arrangement of the side unit(s) relative to the main unit.

  • Publication number: 20130011272
Abstract: A nacelle (2) for a wind turbine (1) and a method for erecting a wind turbine (1) are disclosed. The nacelle (2) comprises a main unit (8) arranged to be connected to a wind turbine tower (3), via a yawing arrangement, and at least one side unit (9a, 9b, 9c, 9d) mounted along a side of the main unit (8) in such a manner that direct access is allowed between the main unit (8) and the side unit(s) (9a, 9b, 9c, 9d), each side unit (9a, 9b, 9c, 9d) accommodating at least one wind turbine component (13, 14, 15, 16, 17), and at least one side unit (9a, 9b, 9c, 9d) being capable of carrying the wind turbine component(s) (13, 4, 15, 16, 17) accommodated therein. The main unit (8) and at least one of the side unit(s) (9a, 9b, 9c, 9d) are distributed side by side along a substantially horizontal direction which is substantially transverse to a rotational axis of a rotor of the wind turbine (1).

  • Patent number: 3994421
Abstract: A combination aerosol container carrier and deceleration chamber carries an aerosol container interiorly of the deceleration chamber and by pulling out and, pivoting the aerosol container in its case, is changed to a dispensing configuration in such a manner that essential parts are not apt to be dropped and incorrect assembly is avoided even when the user is under stress or adverse environmental conditions. The dispenser provides for unitary doses of inhalable medicament, with uniform doses and very convenient administration.

  • Patent number: 3992265
Abstract: The susceptability of microorganisms to various antibiotics is determined by propagating microorganisms in the presence of different concentrations of the antibiotic in a plurality of test cells or chambers axially aligned on one element of a cylinder of plastic which cylinder has a concentric protective sleeve with apertures to match the test cups and indexing and orienting means to keep the sleeve and cylinder aligned. A series of concentrations of a particular antibiotic are prepackaged and stored dry in the test cells of a particular cylinder with various antibiotics in various cylinders which may be positioned in a storage rack for convenience in inoculation and incubation.
