Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for generating a potential act up rank of an employee based on a current rank and one or more qualifications of the employee. The method and system receiving the current rank and the one or more qualifications associated with an employee from a workforce management application. An employee hierarchy table is updated with the current rank and the one or more qualifications of the employee. A potential act up rank is determined based on the current rank and the one or more qualifications of the employee. The potential act up rank specifies eligibility of the employee to perform an act up task. The potential act up rank is updated in the employee hierarchy table.
