  • Patent number: 4382529
Abstract: A closure device is disclosed herein for use in conjunction with a plastic squeeze discharge container which includes a screw-on type of bottle cap provided with a pair of indentures or cavities arranged normal to each other and a two-pronged, elbow shaped combined actuator and dispensing nozzle which movably fits into the indentures or cavities. A selected cavity is provided with a reduced entrance so as to insertably receive and snap-lock with the dispensing nozzle. The other cavity is formed to correspond to the shape of the actuator so as to recess the actuator into the cap. A finger engaging portion of the actuator extends beyond the exterior of the cap. An orifice is formed in the cap supporting the dispensing nozzle which registers with a hole in the side of the nozzle communicating with an elongated passageway that terminates in a discharge opening.

  • Patent number: 4363183
Abstract: An animal trap is disclosed herein which includes a base movably supporting a spring loaded U-shaped jaw that is releasably held to the base by a safety latch mechanism. A bait treadle is movably carried on the base in cooperating relationship with the jaw via a trigger mechanism so that the jaw is actuated upon disturbance of the bait treadle. A cage-like structure is carried on the base and partially encloses the bait treadle so that the animal is guided into a predetermined orientation or position whereby the actuated jaw will strike a vital area of the animal.

  • Patent number: 4071272
Abstract: An applicator is disclosed herein for inserting and for removing a contact lens which includes a two piece construction of molded parts. One part is a pliable bulb element adapted to the snap-lock into engagement with a selected end of an elongated and flexible shank having an open-ended passageway extending therethrough and terminating in a lens seat defined by a compound concave curvature. The bulb includes internal and integrally formed ribs which strengthen the bulb wall so that the bulb may be readily depressed to expel air through the passageway of the shank so as to create a suction for holding the lens in the lens seat.
