  • Publication number: 20170227302
Abstract: A stacked-plate heat exchanger may include a plurality of stacked plates that are stacked one on top of another in a stacking direction to form a first fluid channel and a second fluid channel through which a first fluid and a second fluid are flowable. The plurality of stacked plates may be arranged in the stacking direction between a first end plate and a second end plate opposite the first end plate. The plurality of stacked plates may also include a plurality of through-openings that form distribution channels and collection channels. The heat exchanger may also include a first stacked plate arranged between the first end plate and a second stacked plate, the second stacked plate connected to the first end plate and first stacked plate by an integral connection.

  • Patent number: 5914750
Abstract: A shutter intended for use with a light-sensitive material. The shutter includes a light-blocking disk having a light-passing portion through which light can pass to reach a light-sensitive material. The disk is rotated to locate its light-passing portion in line with the light-sensitive material to allow light passing through the light-passing portion to advance towards the light-sensitive material. The shutter also includes a capping element which is moved between a light-blocking position and a non-light-blocking position relative to the light-sensitive material and the light-passing portion of the disk. A single sensor is used to detect a predetermined rotational position of the disk and in response thereto the capping element is moved from one of its light-blocking and non-light-blocking positions to the other.

  • Patent number: 5652930
Abstract: A photographic camera is provided with a display including organic electroluminescent material energizable in patterns representing camera information. The patterns are defined by electrically isolated illumination elements that are controlled to emit light by selectively applying a voltage to the elements forming the desired pattern. The material may be chosen to emit light in different colors representing levels of concern associated with camera conditions. Certain features provide a display having an in-line array of alpha-numeric character generators comprising a matrix of closely spaced illumination elements and a control for energizing selected combinations of the elements to emit light collectively defining alpha-numeric characters. Display brightness can be adjusted by changing the applied power as a function of the ambient light conditions to enhance viewability of the display.
