    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of preparing a pressure-sensitive adhesive comprising the steps of: (i) providing an essentially solvent-free mixture comprising one or more free radically polymerizable monomers having one ethylenically unsaturated group and at least one free-radical polymerization initiator, (ii) partially polymerizing said mixture to provide a partially polymerized mixture exhibiting a Brookfield viscosity of between 1,000 and 125,000 mPa·s at 20° C. and a degree of conversion of monomers to polymer of between 30-60 wt. % with respect to the initial mass of the monomers prior to polymerization, (iii) adding one or more free-radical radiation polymerization initiators to the partially polymerized mixture to provide a radiation-curable precursor, (iv) applying the radiation-curable precursor to a substrate, and (v) further polymerizing the radiation-curable precursor by subjecting it to actinic irradiation to provide said pressure-sensitive adhesive.

A biasing mechanism is positioned between the handles for biasing the handles apart so that a closing force is imparted along the length of the jaws. The pivoting points pivotally connect the jaws together and are also configured to allow one jaw to be lifted relative to the other jaw. The method of temporarily occluding a blood vessel comprises the steps of providing a vascular clamp as described above and positioning the clamp about a blood vessel.

An open transition area in the side of the switchgear cabinet between the cross brace and the cover and/or the bottom area of the switchgear cabinet is covered by a shield. For simplification, the shield is fastened on a fastening section of a holder from the direction of the interior of the switchgear cabinet. With the shield in an unmounted position, the holder is maintained by a locking element in a prepared mounting position.

    Abstract: A closing device for a control cabinet door, machine casing or the like, having a security unit with a lock attached to the control cabinet door, machine casing or the like, with a first locking part and a second locking part fixed to the door frame, machine frame or the like. The two locking parts can be made to cooperate with each other or not by application of an electric signal. In a closing device there is a locking and unlocking mechanism suitable for use with all usual types of lock. Thus a lock is used which has a locking mechanism that can be rotated in different directions and in which a locking member subjected to a spring tension is movably guided. In addition, when in a locked position the locking member subjected to a spring tension prevents the rotation of the locking mechanism.

The pull-out element can be pulled out at the front from the opened receiving housing. An electrical apparatus, for example the central processing unit of a computer is deposited on the pull-out element and connection cables are fed to the electrical apparatus. In order to improve the cable arrangement, a power supply chain is secured by one of its chain ends to the support and by its other chain end to the pull-out element. The power supply chain receives the connection cable.
