  • Patent number: 11442018
Abstract: A system (90) for imaging microscopic samples comprises a light source (31) for exciting fluorescence from at least one sample, a photosensor (40) configured to detect light deflected by a beam splitter (20) from an optical excitation path directed to the sample and output an electrical signal of optical flux to the sample, a camera (30) configured to receive and form an image of fluorescence light emitted from the sample, and a controller (134) comprising an integrator (122) configured to integrate the electrical signal from the photodetector and a comparator configured to compare the integrated output to a predetermined threshold, wherein the controller is configured to control an exposure time of the camera such that each sample receives substantially the same total optical flux of incident light during a duration of camera exposure which is terminated when a predetermined threshold representative of the total optical flux is met.

  • Publication number: 20220169280
Abstract: A method estimates a course of a roadway in a vicinity of a vehicle based on a state function describing the course of the roadway, wherein the state function includes a clothoid spline. The method includes providing ambient measured data describing the course of the roadway at a current position of the vehicle, where the ambient measured data includes a polynomial function. The method also includes transforming the state function and the ambient measured data into a common coordinate system, and checking the ambient measured data for an error. If no error is detected, then the state function is adapted based on the ambient measured data in the common coordinate system. If an error is detected, then the error is stored.

  • Publication number: 20220101637
Abstract: A computer-implemented method estimates a course of a roadway in a surrounding area of a vehicle on the basis of a state function describing the course of a roadway. The state function includes a clothoid spline. The method includes providing surrounding-area measurement data describing the course of a roadway at a current position of the vehicle, the surrounding-area measurement data having at least one polynomial function. The method also includes transforming the state function and the surrounding-area measurement data into a common coordinate system. The method further includes adapting the state function on the basis of the surrounding-area measurement data in the common coordinate system.

  • Patent number: 10207519
Abstract: In a printer having first and second clamps, the deformation of a recording medium due to the web tensile force produced in the printer can be determined using the first and the second clamps. The deformation can be determined in advance of a printing process and/or during the printing operation. A print image can be adapted based on the determined deformation to compensate for the deformation of the recording medium.

  • Patent number: 7006783
Abstract: In a device and method for fixing toner images on a carrier web, rinsing chambers from which a mixture of solvent vapor and air is drawn off are located before and after a fixing chamber. The mixture is passed through a condenser, the discharge of which is re-supplied to the rinsing chambers.

  • Patent number: 6915101
Abstract: In a vapor fixing device for an electrographic printer or copier, the heated vapor housing is provided such that vapor does not condense at the interior housing walls. A directed stream containing solvent vapor is produced which is directed at a section of the support material.
