  • Publication number: 20170008704
Abstract: An overturning system is provided for a conveyor system, in particular an airport baggage conveyor system, which is suitable for transporting goods on a conveyor section. The goods can preferably be transported in the transport direction resting in a stable position on the conveyor section and, as the goods pass the conveyor section, the goods are moved into the stable position with the aid of a goods overturning unit. The goods overturning unit is divided into individual segments. The goods, which are initially in a non-stable position, are overturned into a stable position with the goods overturning unit.

  • Patent number: 9506201
Abstract: The invention provides methods and compositions for softening paper. An inventive composition and method of its use softens paper products (like tissue paper) by de-bonding its cellulose fibers and by improving the smoothness of the resulting paper. The invention forms a surfactant-polymer complex that attaches de-bonding non-ionic surfactants to cellulose fibers that would otherwise not be retained by the cellulose fibers. This complex prevents the fibers from bonding with each other and makes the paper product smoother. Best of all, the composition is environmentally superior and is a non-toxic.

  • Publication number: 20130345340
Abstract: The present invention relates to compositions which are suitable for optimizing mineral building material compositions so that the flow behaviour and the deaeration of the compositions is positively influenced, as a result of which very smooth, virtually pore-free surfaces can be achieved. The compositions can consist of a mixture or comprise a mixture which contains at least one component (a) which comprises a compound N which displays a wetting action in aqueous cement-containing binder systems and contains at least one further component (b) which comprises a compound E which has antifoam properties in aqueous cement-containing binder systems. The compound N in component a) can preferably be a nonionic or amphoteric surfactant, preferably an alkyl alkoxylate or a betaine. The compound E in component b) can preferably be a polyetherpolysiloxane on a support material.

  • Publication number: 20130041295
Abstract: Aerobic exercise and strength training exercise are simultaneously provided to the body of a motionless patient or non-patient, to gradually increase body strength, increase elasticities of limb arteries, veins and adjacent muscles, reduce heart workload, increase whole body blood flow, provide more oxygen and nutrients to the whole body, increase the rate of removal of cell waste products, to treat, prevent, reduce the rate of progression and reduce the risk of recurrence of diseases and conditions of the whole body. Apparatus provides stretching and compressing muscle exercise for hips, shoulders and limbs of motionless patient or non-patient. A new scientific explanation of aerobic exercise, e.g. walking, is provided which shows the sequence of events within the body during aerobic exercise which causes whole-body benefits shown in hundreds of aerobic exercise studies. The explanation is applied to Alzheimer, Parkinson and Cancer studies to explain the results of the studies.

  • Patent number: 8287474
Abstract: A noninvasive treatment to increase the elasticities of arteries and veins in arms, legs, hands and feet, to reduce heart workload, to increase whole body blood flow, to supply an increased amount of oxygen and nutrients throughout the cardiovascular system and increase the rate of removal of cell waste products, to treat many medical conditions so that symptoms are eliminated or minimized due to improved performance of the body. The noninvasive treatment includes using a vacuum pressure and air pressure system to perform the above, and to passively exercise muscles of arms, legs, hands and feet in a chamber, and is suited for patients who are unable to engage in sufficient exercise on their own.
