  • Patent number: 11093521
Abstract: Systems and methods for just-in-time data quality assessment of best records created during data migration are disclosed. A data steward includes tools for creating and editing a best record creation strategy that defines how records from multiple systems will be integrated into target systems. At design time, the data steward can generate best record creation and validation rules based on the best record creation strategy. The data steward can apply the best record creation and validation rules to a sample of matched records from multiple data sources to generate a sample set of best records. The efficacy of the best record creation rules can be evaluated by assessing the number of fields in the sample set that fail the validation rules. During review, the validation rules can be applied to edits to the best records received from a human reviewer to ensure compliance with the best record creation strategy.

  • Patent number: 7372840
Abstract: Methods and correspondent nodes to filter IP communications through firewalls in scenarios where dynamic pinholes are created to ensure an appropriate level of security is disclosed. The invention is based on creating a secure and authorized anchor for communications where all the communications are routed through before a firewall performs the packet filtering. A Translator Gateway (TrGW) switches addresses in the header according to a stored Mapping Table and an interface between a CPS (or a SIP proxy) and the TrGW. This interface allows the CPS to request the TrGW to provide bindings data between IP addresses upon session initiation, the TrGW to provide the bindings data to the CPS and the CPS to release the bindings at session release. The firewall accepts incoming packets whose IP address belongs to the pool of addresses of the TrGW.

  • Patent number: 5684190
Abstract: A method of recovering a desired amino acid such as L-lysine from an aqueous solution containing the desired amino acid and impurities, includes the steps of passing the solution over a primary cation exchange resin to adsorb the desired amino acid onto the resin at a pH lower than the isoelectric point of the desired amino acid, eluting the desired amino acid from the resin using a suitable eluent having a pH higher than the isoelectric point of the desired amino acid to produce a first solution, passing the first solution over a secondary cation exchange resin to adsorb one or more of the impurities and to produce a second solution leaving the resin, collecting the second solution until the ratio of the concentrations of a selected impurity to the desired amino acid reaches a chosen value to produce a third solution which contains a lower level of impurities than the first solution, and recovering the desired amino acid from the third solution.
