Abstract: A method for caulking or grouting a corner involving providing a tape with two strips of adhesive tape, the strips being spaced apart such that a channel is formed therebetween. A non-adhesive dividing strip is attached to the strips. The strips are folded along the centerline of and rolled upon a cylindrical core (16). The roll is placed against one wall with the folded edge inserted into the corner. Using the roll as a guide the tape is unrolled along the corner by moving the roll along the corner, progressively unrolling tape from the roll and unpeeling the dividing strip. After the tape is in place, caulk or grout is applied in the channel between the adhesive strips.

Abstract: A method for caulking or grouting a corner wherein a roll or tape having two double-sided adhesive strips 12 and 12? attached to a backing strip 14 such that adhesive strips 12 and 12? are parallel to one another and are spaced apart forming a uniform, intermediate channel and folded in half, forming an exposed edge of the backing strip is inserted into the corner of a wall, the roll of tape is used as a guide by holding the roll flush against a first wall and unrolled, adhering the outer strip along the entire length of the second wall, then cut and unfolded such that the outer adhesive strip becomes adhered to the entire length of the first wall, forming a uniform channel into which caulk or grout can be applied.

Abstract: A caulking or grouting aid comprising two identical, double-sided adhesive strips 12 and 12′ attached to a backing strip 14 such that adhesive strip 12 and 12′ are parallel to one another and are spaced apart forming a uniform, intermediate channel. The backing strip is folded in half, such that the exposed edge of backing strip 14 can be inserted into the corner of a wall, then unfolded such that the front sides of the adhesive strips become adhered to the adjacent walls, forming a uniform channel into which caulk or grout can be applied.
