  • Patent number: 8272652
Abstract: A suspension for a rear or a front portion of a chassis for vehicles in which a pair of longitudinal stabilizer assemblies and an anti-sway stabilizer each use a same type of a stabilizer bar, with the longitudinal stabilizer assemblies pivotably connected on opposing sides of the chassis and the anti-sway stabilizer pivotably connected in transverse relation proximate an end of the chassis. The longitudinal stabilizer assemblies and the anti-sway stabilizer each include a portion of a saddle that extends around the axle and rigidly connects to the axle. A shock absorber connects between the saddle and the chassis.
