  • Publication number: 20190326869
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for volume interactions for connected playback devices. In an example implementation, a first playback device applies a state variable update associated with a group of playback devices comprising the first playback device and one or more second playback devices. The state variable update indicates a limited volume range associated with the first playback device. The first playback device renders audio content in synchrony with the one or more second playback devices. Rendering the audio content involves a subwoofer speaker of the first playback device rendering a bass frequency component of the audio content. The first playback device receives input data indicating a group volume adjustment for the group of playback devices and adjusting a playback volume of the first playback device based on the group volume adjustment and the limited volume range.

  • Patent number: 8995687
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for, volume interactions for connected playback device. In one example, a plurality of playback devices may be rendering audio in synchrony, when a volume adjustment is made for the plurality of playback devices as a group. In one case, a first playback device in the plurality of playback devices may have a volume limit, as indicated by a state variable associated with the first playback device. In this case, the resulting volume adjustment for the first playback device may be made according to both the group volume adjustment and the volume limit of the first playback device.

  • Patent number: 5964359
Abstract: A modular storage system is adapted for mounting to a support surface such as a wall or the underside of a cabinet. The system comprises a base including a planar top wall connected to opposite downwardly depending side walls and a bottom wall extending between the side walls. The bottom wall has a front opening cutout. The top, bottom and side walls together define a front facing channel contiguous with the cutout. A cover includes a body of a size smaller than the channel, yet larger than the cutout and a downwardly opening threaded collar affixed to the body for threadably mounting a storage jar. The cover is removably receivable in the channel with the collar positioned above the cutout. The body bears on the bottom wall with a jar mounted to the collar extending downwardly through the cutout.

  • Patent number: 5604860
Abstract: A method of customizing and storing an interface control for an imaging machine by entering an interface control customizing mode providing access to a library of control features, selecting a set of control features for use on a given machine, and arranging the set of control features in a given configuration on a scaled representation of an interface control. The set of control features and given configuration is then stored in memory, and referenced with a given identifier in order that upon accessing the identifier the set of control features and given configuration are provided on the interface control display.
