  • Patent number: 4998621
Abstract: A package and packaging method for a flowable sample such as perfume, lipstick, etc. in which the sample is sealed in a flexible envelope of film material and the envelope is in turn supported by a protective enclosure having greater rigidity than the envelope. The envelope is engaged around a portion of its perimetral extent to leave the envelope exposed outside the engaged portion and free and unsupported along the remaining portion of its perimetral extent. The envelope has a sealed pocket in which the sample is contained and the pocket is receivable in an opening in the protective enclosure. The protective enclosure is thicker than the envelope so that if pressure is applied to the pocket it will enter the opening, and be recessed and confined between the outer surfaces of the protective enclosure.

  • Patent number: 4941574
Abstract: A package and packaging method for a liquid sample in which the liquid sample is sealed in a flexible envelope of film material and the envelope is in turn supported in a protective enclosure having greater rigidity than the envelope. The envelope is engaged around a portion of its perimetral extent to leave the envelope exposed outside the engaged portion and free and unsupported along the remaining portion of its perimetral extent. The protective enclosure is thicker than the envelope so that the envelope is recessed and confined between the outer surfaces of the protective enclosure. The envelope is removed from the enclosure by manually engaging the exposed portion and pulling with sufficient force to overcome the support of the envelope by the enclosure.

  • Patent number: 4633533
Abstract: A method and apparatus for neutralizing odor of human evacuation into a toilet facility by dispensing a deodorant liquid dropwise into the toilet facility comprising storing an odor-neutralizing liquid in an inner container and supporting the inner container in an outer container. An outlet is provided in the inner container which opens externally of the outer container and the outlet is formed so that by application of external force on the inner container the odor-neutralizing liquid can be discharged dropwise when the inner container is held in an inverted position and the outlet faces downwardly. The drops of the odor-neutralizing liquid are deposited into the toilet facility prior to use thereof.

  • Patent number: 4567613
Abstract: A disposable article for neutralizing offensive odors comprising a sheet of foldable material having a fold-line dividing the sheet into first and second portions. At least one of the portions has a grid region therein for adsorption of an odor-neutralizing liquid. The portions are folded into confronting relation after adsorption of the liquid in the grid region and the sheet is sealed around the grid in a manner to be subsequently peeled open to expose the adsorbed liquid to the ambient atmosphere at the time of use. The fold-line applies a slight bias to the first and second portions when opened to oppose complete unfolding of the portions into a flat state.
