Abstract: A pilaster assembly for bathroom partitions comprising a pilaster, a vertically oriented end wall with an upper surface and an inner face, and two vertical side walls, perpendicular to and extending laterally relative to the inner face of the end wall, with each side wall having an upper end and an inner face. The inner faces of the side walls are substantially parallel and spaced sufficiently apart to receive a pilaster, and the upper surface of the side walls is higher than the upper surface of the end wall. The pilaster is received between the side walls, with the bottom of the pilaster vertically supported by the upper surface of the end wall.

Abstract: A paper towel dispenser having a housing for supporting a stack of towels and an outlet slot at the bottom of the housing for manual removal of towels one at a time, an adapter positioned within the housing and comprising a single sheet of material having a spacer section and a flange section joined by a hinge section, with the spacer section being positionable adjacent an inner wall of the housing and the flange section being positionable on the bottom of the housing adjacent the outlet slot, with the housing and adapter flange section having interengaging guide means for locating the adapter at at least two positions on the housing bottom for selectively spacing the lower end of the adapter spacer section at at least two distances from the housing inner wall.

Abstract: A lid for a container having an open top with a rear wall having a snap slot and a hook slot, the lid having a latch mechanism with a snap member and a hook member projecting downward for positioning in the snap slot and the hook slot, respectively, when the lid is in position on the container, and having a key slot adjacent the snap and hook members. Each of the snap member and the hook member has a cam surface adjacent the key slot for engagement by a key member pushed downward through the key slot to pivot the snap and lock members away from the snap and hook slots, respectively, for removal of the lid from the container. The hook member has an upward and rearward projecting hook adjacent the lower end of the hook member for entering the container hook slot, and the snap member has a rearward projecting shoulder adjacent the lower end of the snap member for entering the container snap slot.

Abstract: A mirror installation suitable for mounting on a wall, and having a wall mounting plate including a reflector surface, a transparent reflector surface protection sheet, positioning units carried on the wall plate for positioning the transparent sheet over the reflector surface, and a sheet clamp or frame for attaching to the wall plate and overlying edges of the transparent sheet for clamping the transparent sheet to the wall plate over the reflector surface, with the frame and the transparent sheet removable and replaceable without disturbing the reflector surface.

Abstract: A shoe for a toilet compartment stile comprising a single piece of metal having two sides and three ends folded into a rectangular shape with two of the ends overlapping each other and defining a stile space, with the shoe being flexible for moving the overlapping ends apart sufficiently to pass a stile therethrough and position the shoe around the stile, the sides having first and second inwardly turned pairs of flanges with the inner edges of the first pair of flanges spaced apart a first distance and with the inner edges of the second pair of flanges spaced apart a second different distance, and with the overlapping ends having aligned openings for receiving a fastener for joining the overlapping ends together.

Abstract: A towel dispenser consisting of a single unitary molded piece and having a container with a front, a back, right and left sides, and a top, forming a box with an open bottom, arcuate slots in each side, and a bottom member joined to the back with a living hinge and having opposed tabs extending laterally for riding in the slots, and an access opening for passage of a towel from the interior of the container, with the bottom member moveable from an initial position out of the box to a dispensing position with the tabs in the slots for closing the bottom and supporting towels thereon, and to an upward loading position for insertion of towels upward into the box past the bottom member, with the bottom member returning to the dispensing position following insertion of towels.

Abstract: A fluid dispenser having a body for mounting in a counter with a spout above the counter, a escutcheon for the upper end of the shank or body, and a pump with cylinder and piston in the body, with the upper end of the piston projecting above the cylinder and connected to the spout and with the lower end of the cylinder connected to a container below the counter. An electrical solenoid is carried on the body below the counter with a moving plunger connected to the cylinder for moving the cylinder upward relative to the piston for pumping fluid from the container through the piston and out through the spout. A lamp housing is carried in the escutcheon, with an infra red source and an infra red detector mounted in the housing, and an electrical cable is connected between the lamp housing and an electrical circuit mounted adjacent the solenoid for energizing the infra red source and for energizing the solenoid in response to a signal from the infra red detector.

Abstract: A toilet tissue dispenser having a frame with a central arm and spaced side arms, and spindles for rolls of tissue, with each of the spindles having opposed spindle pins for rotation in the frame between the central arm and a side arm, opposed slots in the central arm for slidingly receiving a spindle pin of each of the spindles, a locking member carried in the central arm and movable between a locked position blocking the slots and an unlocked position not blocking the slots, and a lock mechanism mounted in the central arm for actuating the locking member.
