  • Publication number: 20240083244
Abstract: An electric power take-off system for mounting to a truck body to complement an existing power-take-off system powered by an internal combustion engine. The system includes a motor, battery, fluid reservoir, pump and a digital sensing unit for sensing at least one of fluid pressure or a fluid flow rate within the fluid delivery conduit. The digital sensing unit also includes an output capability. The system also includes a motor controller in operable communication with the digital sensing unit as well as the motor for instantaneously controlling the rotational speed of the motor. The motor controller in turn limits operation of the motor only to occasions of truck function operation initiated by the system operator.

  • Patent number: 11691508
Abstract: An electric power take-off system for mounting to a truck body to complement an existing power-take-off system powered by an internal combustion engine. The system includes a motor, a battery for providing electrical power to the motor, a fluid reservoir, a pump for pumping fluid through at least one hose from the fluid reservoir to at least one truck function and for return of the fluid to the reservoir. The system also includes a system interlock rendering inoperable the electric power-take-off system when the internal combustion engine is in operation and a motor controller in communication with the motor for controlling the power output of the motor. The system also includes a charging unit for charging of the battery and a data management system operable to collect data.

  • Publication number: 20110129545
Abstract: The present invention discloses a composition and method of providing ionic forms or compounds of any combination of three metals to produce a product that can be used as an antimicrobial as defined by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) such as a hard surface disinfectant and as a foliar spray or water treatment for the control of various diseases in garden row, field and tree crops, on hard surface areas such as equipment from infected fields or in hospitals, homes, etc. as well as against a wide range of human, plant and animal diseases. Additionally, one or more forms of the composition of the present invention is able to be used to treat and immunize at least various types of trees against plant pathogens by forming an antimicrobial composition comprising a combination of at least one of copper, silver and gold, and injecting the antimicrobial composition into the vascular tissue of a tree being treated, preferably repeatedly, on a predetermined periodic basis.

  • Publication number: 20060206032
Abstract: An improved method and apparatus for non-invasively assessing one or more hemodynamic parameters associated with the circulatory system of a living organism. In one aspect, the invention comprises a method of measuring a hemodynamic parameter by measuring a non-calibrated value of the parameter non-invasively, and inducing a stress of the circulatory system while measuring a second parameter. The response of the circulatory system to the stress is determined directly from the subject, and a calibration function is derived from the response and applied to the non-calibrated measured value to produce a calibrated measure of the actual value of the hemodynamic parameter. Methods of using backscattered acoustic energy for determination of hemodynamic markers are also disclosed.
