A second end of the housing is closed by an endcap where at least one channel is provided longitudinally in the piston and a connection to the channel allowing connection to a source of pressurized medium is provided, connecting the pressurized medium to a space, in use limited by the first seal, the plate material, the tube and the second seal, and optionally part of the piston and part of the housing.

The information processing apparatus inputs volume data to an initial NN layer of the first plurality of NN layers and generates a latent image as an output from a final NN layer of the first plurality of NN layers based on application of the encoder network on the input volume data. The information processing apparatus estimates a distance between the generated latent image and a reference image based on the loss function and updates the encoder network based on the estimated distance. Finally, the information processing apparatus outputs the updated encoder network as a trained encoder network based on the estimated distance being a minimum.

The invented lightweight armor component consists of armor-grade material (2), such as ceramic, encapsulated in fiber reinforced cementitious composite (FRCC) (1). The encapsulation FRCC pre-stress the armor-grade material. The resulting armor component of the present disclosure provides excellent ballistic protection against most types and sizes of Kinetic Energy (KE) threats and Chemical Energy (CE) threats. The armor component has low areal density, reduced damage area, improved multi-hit capability, flexible design and also provides high structural strength. It furthermore has the advantage, that it can be formed in virtually any shape. The present disclosure results in superior ballistic characteristics of an armor component.
