  • Publication number: 20230294067
Abstract: A reactor system for the production and/or treatment of particles in an oscillating process gas stream. The reactor system includes a reactor unit that has an upstream feed unit and a downstream discharge unit and a reactor that includes a multiple burner system that has a combustion chamber, an exhaust gas pipe that follows downstream from the combustion chamber, and a plurality of burners. A part of the burners of the multiple burner systems are suitable for production of the oscillating process gas stream. The burners of the multiple burner system are arranged in the combustion chamber of the reactor unit.

  • Publication number: 20230149884
Abstract: A reactor system and a method for the production and/or treatment of particles in an oscillating process gas stream. The reactor system includes a reaction unit and a pulsation device. A pulsation that has a pulsation frequency and a pulsation pressure amplitude can be imposed on the process gas by means of the pulsation device. The pulsation device can adapt a pulation frequency and/or pulsation pressure amplitude of the pulsation to one of the inherent resonance frequencies of a resonator.

  • Publication number: 20210146325
Abstract: A method for manufacturing particles including (a) bringing at least one starting material into a reactor, (b) subjecting the at least one starting material to a thermal treatment of a pulsating process gas stream in a treatment zone of the reactor, (c) forming particles, and (d) bringing the particles which are obtained in steps (b) and (c) out of the reactor. The at least one starting material is thermally treated in the treatment zone at a treatment temperature of 100° C. to 3000° C. and a retention time in the range of 0.1 s to 25 s, and temperature regulation of the process gas stream is decoupled from the generation and maintenance of a pulsation of the process gas stream. Also provided is a reactor for manufacturing particles according to the method.

  • Patent number: 9079147
Abstract: A method and an associated apparatus for treating fine-grained material in a spouted bed. Here, the method and design for an associated apparatus for treating fine-grained material in a spouted bed eliminate the drawbacks of the prior art, allow different process conditions in the process chamber to be adjusted in a regulated manner, and has a simple and inexpensive structure. The method is provides that a nearly circular gas flow of the fluidizer is generated in the process chamber (5) by an external annular gap (7) lying on the y-z plane, the diameter of the nearly circular gas flow expands outward in the direction of the x axis inside the process chamber (5), and a nearly circular gas flow of the fluidizer is generated by an internal annular gap (8) lying on the y-z plane, the diameter of the nearly circular gas flow expands inward within the process chamber (5).

  • Patent number: 7823810
Abstract: A method and a device for producing and/or conditioning powdered material. The aim of the invention is to provide a method and an associated device which are used for producing and/or conditioning powdered material in a spouted bed comprising inert particles and in which a dry, fine powder having a very small particle diameter is produced at a low cost and at adequately large quantities in a continuous operation. This aim is achieved by a method in which the material is treated in several stages in a spouted bed comprising inert particles. In the method, the powdered material that is preprocessed in a first spouted bed and is separated from the larger material particles in an integrated dust collector is fed to a superimposed second spouted bed as a material-gas flow along with the gas flow discharged from the first spouted bed in order to be further reduced in size and be conditioned.
