    Abstract: There is provided a method for the control of sicklepod (Cassia obtusifolia L.) in the presence of leguminous crops. More particularly, this invention provides a method for the selective control of sicklepod in the presence of bean plants by applying to the foliage of said sicklepod a herbicidally effective amount of 2-(4-isopropyl-4-methyl-5-oxo-2-imidazolin-2-yl)-5-methylnicotinic acid.
