Abstract: The invention is directed to a system for managing storage of an object in a storage system having a plurality of different storage media divided into different partitions, which includes a storage processor for determining whether a particular storage partition has reached a predetermined capacity threshold; a data migration processor for identifying within the particular storage partition an object to be moved and for identifying a target destination partition for the particular object in response to the capacity determination, the migration processor identifying the target destination partition based on one or more selected from the group consisting of (a) media type of the particular storage partition, and (b) information identifying related objects in the target destination partition; and a transfer processor for transferring data representing the particular object to the target destination partition.

Abstract: A system auto-analyzes a document to automatically complete a record (e.g., a patient record) and create data indicating a document deficiency and assign data indicating the deficiency after the document is acquired into a patient record based on the type of the document and a predefined set of rules. A healthcare document processing system processes data indicating a document deficiency preventing a document from being designated complete. The system includes an interface for receiving data including a patient record identifier and data identifying a document, and an associated document type, the document having been added to a patient record having the patient record identifier.

Abstract: A document processing system links and chains data identifying document deficiencies together for use in monitoring document completion to control workflow and automate document completion. A document processing system includes at least one repository including chain data identifying, multiple document deficiencies, individual document deficiency type and an order for addressing the document deficiencies for providing completed documents. A task processor uses the at least one repository in automatically assigning tasks to be performed by one or more workers in the order for addressing the document deficiencies to correct the deficiencies.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a system for processing data to be stored in a document-imaging system that includes a posting processor programmed for receiving at least one object containing the data; a bursting processor programmed for bursting the object to create at least one bursted object; an index extraction processor programmed for extracting indexing information on the bursted object; and a communication processor programmed for transmitting the transformed bursted object and the indexing information to the document-imaging system. The invention may further include a transformation processor for transforming the bursted object and a user interface for configuring the system.
