  • Patent number: 7604691
Abstract: The invention relates to an adsorption filter for fuel vapors, particularly from the fuel tank of a combustion engine of a motor vehicle, which can be regenerated by desorptive reverse flow back flushing and which interacts with heat accumulating substances via the adsorbable or desorbable filter material. The aim of the invention is to increase the heat accumulability inside the filter material. To this end, the heat accumulating substances consist of phase-change materials (PCM) that are distributed in small units within the reactive filter material.

  • Publication number: 20090072535
Abstract: The invention relates to a coupling system (12) which is used to connect a tube (7) to a socket (8). Said tube (7) comprises a support (13) which is arranged on at least one or the ends thereof. Said support can be inserted into the socket (8) and the comprises, on the external side thereof, at least one annular groove (14) and a securing contour (16). The socket (8) comprises a stop contour (20) on the external side thereof. A coupling element (17), which is produced separately in relation to the socket (8) and the support (13), is placed on the outside on the support (13). The coupling element (17) comprises at least one stop hook (19) which engages behind the stop contour (20) when the support (13) is inserted into the socket (8). The coupling element (17) comprises at least one securing hook (18) which co-operates with the securing contour (16) in order to fix the coupling element (17) to the support (13) in an axial manner.

  • Patent number: 7163004
Abstract: The invention relates to a ventilation system for a fuel tank of an internal combustion engine, the device comprising a filter. The aim of the invention is to functionally improve one such device, simultaneously reducing the structural volume thereof by saving filter volume. To this end, the inventive device is characterized by at least one of the following features: a first stop valve leading to the atmosphere communicates with the same via an air intake filter of the internal combustion engine; and the inner chamber of the tank and the air-guiding region located between the tank and the stop valves are connected to a pump which sucks air from the atmosphere into said region via the air intake filter of the internal combustion engine, if one such pump is available.

  • Publication number: 20060148311
Abstract: A sensor for devices such as mining machines, shaft-lining supports or extracting plants in underground mining, comprising a sensor device (15) disposed in a casing (11) and scanning measurements or variables and converting them into electric signals, also comprising a connecting element (26) in the form of a plug or socket fixed to the sensor casing (11) and adapted to be coupled to a receiving connection on the device and through which the sensor device (15) is supplied with the measurement or variable, and also comprising a flexible sheathed cable (1) comprising conductors (4) and a sheath (2), the sensor device (15) being electrically connectable via the conductors (4) to an evaluating device, in which the sensor casing (11) comprises a portion (13) with a cable insertion opening (20) to which the sheathed cable (1) is fastened in tension-resistant manner, wherein the conductors (4) are firmly connected through the cable insertion opening to the sensor device (15).

  • Publication number: 20050192975
Abstract: A resource management system for an electronic device having at least one system resource includes a resource manager for monitoring the usage of the system resource; a remote resource; and a communication link for transmitting data between the system resource and the remote resource. The resource manager transmits data over the communication link from the system resource to said remote resource when the utilization of the system resource approaches a predetermined threshold.

  • Patent number: 6877277
Abstract: For an explosion-proof connection of two electric line ends (25, 26), the contact elements (27, 28) are accommodated in two tubes (1, 2), which can be joined in an explosion-proof manner. Each of the plug-in contact parts is axially secured in its tube by a radial projection (41) in the direction toward the end facing the other tube. At its line end, each of the tubes is closed by an end cap (42), which sealingly surrounds with a narrow outlet (44) the electric lines, including an insulation (43). The tube, in which the plug-in contact part with the contact pins is axially secured, extends beyond the tip of the contact pins, and has there an enlarged diameter, with which it surrounds the other tube (inner tube 1,3) with a narrow cylindrical gap (sealing gap 20).
