  • Publication number: 20200043876
Abstract: A package includes an electronic chip having a pad. The pad is at least partially covered with adhesion enhancing structures. The pad and the adhesion enhancing structures have at least aluminium in common.

  • Publication number: 20070090688
Abstract: A control system for a vehicle combination comprises a towing vehicle and a trailer, with an electronically activatable drive train. A manual operator control device, which is fixed on the towing vehicle, can be used by the vehicle driver to input a driving request for manual operation of the vehicle combination, from which request a standardized movement vector is generated. A control device (19), which is fixed on the towing vehicle, outputs control signals for activating the drive train based on an input movement vector. For the transmission of the control signals, the control device is coupled to the drive train, which processes the control signals to implement the driving request. To improve the functionality of the control system, a trailer coordination device, which is mounted on the towing vehicle, can be used to read in at least one trailer-specific actual value and pass on the actual value to the control device.

  • Patent number: 6588695
Abstract: An elongate product (BA1) is transported away from its storage device (VT) in such a way that at least one loop (SL) is formed at at least one longitudinal point on its running path (AW2). Changes in the geometric shape of the loop (SL) are registered and used to control or regulate the outward transport movement of the elongate product (BA1).

  • Patent number: 6123289
Abstract: An aerodynamic device, such as a projectile includes an elongated forebody, and an aft section secured to the forebody. The aft section acts as a d control device, and includes a connecting member that extends integrally in a conically shaped flared section, for generating a lift force to help stabilize the projectile during forward flight. The aft section further includes a flange that extends from the flared section, and that provides velocity decay and optimal drag, in order to limit the projectile flight and descent within a predetermined safety or emergency range. The flared section is defined between an innermost edge positioned adjacent to the connecting member, and an outermost edge positioned adjacent to the flange.

  • Patent number: 5744194
Abstract: A process for coating at least one optical waveguide with a filling compound has at least two successive filling stages separated by a wiping device of reduced cross section. In the region of the wiping device, a proportion of the filling compound which is thus wiped off is led past the wiping device by a bypass and is fed once more to coat the optical waveguide in the second filling stage.

  • Patent number: 5740365
Abstract: For administering and maintaining a greatest variety of communication systems having a greatest variety of configuration levels and function versions, a modularly structured personal service computer can be connected thereto locally or via communication networks. The adaptability to the greatest variety of communication systems is achieved with the assistance of a software concept wherein administration and maintenance instructions that administer and maintain communication systems are generated individually associated to a communication system and under the control of the user surface and are communicated to the respective communication system. The software concept is based on a software structure comprising four program structures that can be modified by removing or adding program modules given the least influencing of the implemented program modules and that substantially enhances the modularity and adaptability of the personal service computer.
