  • Publication number: 20100251992
Abstract: A radial pulsed rotary engine a rotor mounted for rotation between two parallel circular discs and creates pulsed focused fuel/air mixture ignitions sequentially within many wedge shaped chambers of a flat circular rotor. The rotor has a number of wedge shaped chambers that are defined by a number of rotor partitions that extend from positions near the center of the rotor to positions at or near the outer periphery of the rotor and are sequentially in communication with a fuel/air supply, defined by one of the disks, and an outer peripheral portion that is sequentially in communication with exhaust discharge openings that are defined by a housing within which the rotor is positioned. Spark plugs are mounted to the housing and fire sequentially in response to the position of the rotor within the housing.

  • Patent number: 5262879
Abstract: A method for converting a 2-D image into a hologram is set forth. An optical scanner system which measures the primary color intensity of a selected pixel and forms an indication thereof is disclosed. The location of the pixel is output as XY coordinate data. The location and color data is stored in memory, and the memory is thereafter retrieved. A pixel is located on a blank, and a laser beam split into four equal segments is focused along four separate pathways to the pixel location. Interference fringes formed at the point of convergence on the blank enables transfer of a single pixel, and multiple pixels are transferred so that the entire image is reproduced.

  • Patent number: 4092800
Abstract: Microwave transmitters generate electromagnetic energy at a desired frequency in the range of from 300 MHz to 300 GHz. Energy derived from the microwave transmitters is coupled into a waveguide for transmission to an energy radiator coupled to the waveguide. The energy radiator, waveguide and microwave transmitters are vehicle mounted such that the radiator is made to pass over areas in which it is desired to control vegetation. Vegetation, including seeds, in the path of energy emitting from the radiator absorbs the energy from the field resulting in internal changes in the plant or seed causing death or debilitation of the vegetation or seed.
