  • Patent number: 6192422
Abstract: A full duplex repeater for collision-free transmission of data packets between node of a local area network. The repeater includes a multiple of ports, a signal path for communicating data between the ports, and an arbitration mechanism. Each of the ports has an input and output buffer. The mechanism routes data through the repeater by activating each of the ports one port at a time, such as with a round robin algorithm, to transmit stored data from the input buffer of an activated port through the signal path to the other ports. The repeater has a congestion control mechanism that includes level indicators and preset high and low threshold levels for the input buffers and a flow control device. The flow control device monitors the level indicators to determine if the amount of data in a buffer exceeds the high threshold level.

  • Patent number: 5408272
Abstract: A method of producing a composited video image based on depth uses a serial combiner to which a plurality of video input signals, representing video images, and priority signals are input. The video input signals each have an associated depth signal. The depth signals are sorted from farthest to nearest and a matrix control signal is generated from the depth signals. The matrix control signal is used to route the video input signals to appropriate inputs of the serial combiner in order from farthest to nearest. The priority signals are derived from the depth signals either serially or in parallel.

  • Patent number: 5173948
Abstract: A video mapping system includes a weighting coefficients generator and a two-dimensional resampling filter that efficiently utilize memory resources and operate fast enough to process a video image stream without introducing artifacts through temporal interpolation. This system can accommodate non-linear and many-to-one mappings, allowing a source two-dimensional video image to be folded over itself in complicated ways to produce an image in the target coordinate system. The only restrictions are that the mapping be piecewise continuous and single-valued. Anti-aliasing filtering is implicit in the approach.

  • Patent number: 4183328
Abstract: A dispenser applicator and flexible walled container assembly for applying liquid compositions such as anti-tick and anti-flea compositions and the like to the skin of pet animals, including an applicator portion molded in the configuration of the kind of pet animal to be treated having hollow legs resembling the pet animal's legs forming coarse combing members to spread the animal's hair into furrows. The hollow legs form tubular conduits for the liquid composition and have elongated felt pad members protruding from the lower ends to contact the animal's skin and transfer the liquid composition thereto. The flexible walled container comprising an elongated generally round cross-sectioned squeeze bottle threaded to a tail portion of the applicator and forming a handle for the assembly.
