  • Patent number: 6619844
Abstract: In a linear rolling bearing, a plurality of ball circuits are arranged behind one another in peripheral direction around a guide rail. At least one ball circuit comprising a load-bearing section, a returning section and two deflecting sections which connect these load-bearing and returning sections to each other are retained in a segmental cage housing. This is formed by an inner cage part (11) and an outer cage part (12) and comprises a load-bearing raceway element (9) that is fitted into a through-aperture of the outer cage part (12). The balls (8) of the load-bearing section are supported on one side on a raceway of the load-bearing raceway element (9) and project through a slot (14) of the inner cage part (11) to be supported on another side on the guide rail for rolling in the longitudinal direction thereof. According to the invention, each segmental cage housing can be separately inserted and removed in radial direction from a recess of a cage bushing (1) surrounding the guide rail.

  • Patent number: 6030124
Abstract: A linear rolling bearing comprising a fixed guide rail (1) and a guide carriage which has a U-shaped cross-section and partially surrounds the guide rail (1), said guide carriage being slidably mounted on the guide rail (1) while being constituted by a carrier body (2) on whose ends pointing in directions of movement, there are arranged head pieces acting as deflectors for rolling elements and comprising end wipers in contact with the guide rail contour, longitudinal wipers (13) which act as seals and have sealing lips (19) which bear against the guide rail (1) being arranged between the guide carriage and the guide rail (1). According to the invention, an additional sealing lip (20) is formed on each longitudinal wiper (13) and bears against the carrier body (2).

  • Patent number: 5988884
Abstract: A guide rail arrangement for connecting two relatively displaceable components comprising a lower rail (1) and an upper rail (2) supported thereon by rolling elements (3), said lower and upper rails being configured as rectilinear sheet metal profiles, one of the lower and upper rails partially surrounding the other of the lower and upper rails, whereby hollow spaces are formed for receiving the rolling elements (3) and further slide elements (4) arranged between the rails is characterized in that, in a central region of the arrangement, the two rails (1, 2) define a receiving space (5) for a spring and/or damping element, which receiving space (5) is adjoined by regions comprising the rolling elements and the slide elements (4) and extending in end regions of the rails (1, 2) which results in the creation of an arrangement with uniform load distribution on its components so that a deformation of the components and a pressing-in of the rolling elements is reliably prevented.

  • Patent number: 5727884
Abstract: In a linear rolling bearing comprising a solid guide rail and a U-shaped carrier body engaging therearound, the carrier body (2) being slidably supported on the guide rail by rolling elements, each deflector comprises a housing and two deflecting shells (10) inserted therein with clearance, on which shells the webs extending into the load-bearing regions for the rolling elements are formed as centering webs (11), and each deflecting shell (10) additionally comprises a projecting, centering collar (12) which extends into a return bore (6) of the carrier body (2).

  • Patent number: 5553947
Abstract: In a guide rail (14) for railborne load carriers comprising a support (13) and at least one running rail (15) arranged in a groove (2) of the support (13), this support (13) is an extruded hollow profile. This results in a simple manufacturing method and a small material requirement.
