Abstract: The problem to be solved by the invention consists in the provision of a one-piece plastic enclosure, in particular made of PE-material, which can be placed on a filled container without satisfying particular tolerance requirements while simultaneously satisfying the additional, in part contradictory requirements, namely, to be manufactured in a few steps and to be apt for recycling after use, while ensuring reliably the guarantee function and the sealing function, for the closed container. Abstract: A mold core for use in a two-component injection molding method is presented, in particular for two-component injection molding of plastic closures for bottles and similar containers. The invention solves the problem that integral mold cores, due to the configuration of the first molding, are only difficultly or not at all displaceable by a predetermined amount from the first molding, to form an intermediate space or second cavity for the injection of a second molding. The invention accounts for this in that the mold core consists of first and second sub-cores or tool elements and that one sub-core or tool element, after injecting the first substance, is displaceable by a predetermined amount relative to the first molding. After the second substance has been injected into the created intermediate space to form the second molding, a central tool element of the mold core is used as an ejector to support the deforming of the closure from the mold core.

Abstract: In the injection molding of closure caps, the problem of demolding the safety-seal strip, which is suspended at an intended break line and is necessarily provided with undercuts, is encountered. Here a clearance must first be created at the lower outer surface of the safety-seal strip, and the safety-seal strip must then be stripped from the mold core together with the closure cap. As a practical method step, the invention proposes to bring about the release of the lower portion of the outer surface of the safety-seal strip by lowering a mold ring which is displaceable relative to the stripper plate.
