  • Patent number: 11996750
Abstract: A pump includes an electric motor with a rotor mounted rotatably about an axis of rotation and circumferentially surrounding a stator that includes a stator core and coils wound on the stator core. The windings are defined by a winding wire with winding wire end sections electrically contacted directly with a printed circuit board at an end surface through insulation displacement contacts each including at least one opening for insertion of a winding wire end section, the at least one opening being a slot extending parallel or substantially parallel to a surface of the printed circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20220247141
Abstract: An electric motor includes a rotor and a stator including a stator core and coils. The coils are defined by a winding wire including winding wire ends electrically contacted with a printed circuit board at an end surface through connectors. The connectors each include at least two insulation displacement contacts receiving a winding wire end of a stator winding. Each connector includes a single electrical connection to the printed circuit board. The connector includes a base body with an underside in contact with the printed circuit board. Each of the at least two insulation displacement contacts includes a clamping slot perpendicular to the underside of the base body. The clamping slots are defined by spaced legs extending from the base body, at least two of the spaced legs being resilient.

  • Publication number: 20220106948
Abstract: A pump includes an electric motor with a rotor mounted rotatably about an axis of rotation and surrounding a stator circumferentially. The stator includes a stator core and coils wound on the stator core, the coils being made from a winding wire with winding wire end sections electrically contacted at an end surface with a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board is surrounded by a plug assembly circumferentially with respect to the axis of rotation. The plug assembly includes contacts which are electrically contacted at a first end with the printed circuit board and are directed radially outwardly at a second end in order to define a plug to contact the printed circuit board with an electrical controller.

  • Publication number: 20220090589
Abstract: A pump includes an electric motor with a rotor rotatably mounted about an axis of rotation and circumferentially surrounding a stator. The stator includes a stator core and coils wound on the stator core. The windings are made of a winding wire including winding wire end portions which are electrically contacted with a circuit board on an end side. The rotor, the stator, and the circuit board are surrounded by a motor housing which is adjoined by a pump housing, the circuit board being electrically contacted with an intermediate plug to contact the circuit board with an electrical controller. The intermediate plug includes contacts which are injection-molded into the intermediate plug, are electrically contacted with a first end at the circuit board, include a second end arc directed at least partially radially outwardly, and are introduced into a connecting region of the intermediate plug.

Abstract: A pump includes an electric motor with a rotor rotatably mounted about an axis of rotation and circumferentially surrounding a stator. The stator includes a stator core and coils wound on the stator core. The coils are made from a winding wire with winding wire end sections electrically contacted at an end surface with a printed circuit board. The winding wire end sections, starting from the stator, extend radially outwardly to the axis of rotation and are directly contacted with the printed circuit board via insulation displacement contacts.
