Abstract: The present invention is directed to protecting an automobile from extreme weather conditions, particularly flooding. The invention comprises an automobile storage bag, and a method for shielding an automobile from extreme weather conditions. Prior to the onslaught of, or in the early stages of, hazardous weather; a user would be able to shield his automobile from flood waters by completely enclosing an automobile from the elements with the present invention. The receptacle is constructed of a material that allows it to be pliant, which allows easy storage. The automobile storage bag includes a receptacle having a terrestrial engagement surface and a fastener.
