  • Patent number: 10279122
Abstract: A medical injection device has an injection unit and an anti-rotation device. Said anti-rotation device is non-rotationally connected to a port and connection portion of the injection device so as to surround the outside thereof in the manner of a sleeve. As a result, an intuitively usable and operationally safe injection device is obtained. When a protective cap for an injection cannula of the injection unit is being removed from the port and connection portion, an unwanted rotation of the port and connection portion relative to the container about components of a plug-in connection arranged therebetween is safely prevented.

  • Publication number: 20180014997
Abstract: A device serves for transferring a fluid between a storage container and at least one further container for use. Said transfer device comprises a sealing section by means of which a main part of the transfer device sealingly rests on the storage container. A hollow-needle assembly comprises a hollow needle which can be moved between a retracted resting position and a deployed connecting position, the assembly, in the connecting position, providing a fluid connecting channel between the storage container and the transfer device. The hollow-needle assembly can be moved by means of a pressure actuating element. During said movement, the pressure actuating element is primarily connected to the sleeve of the hollow needle so as to be resistant to shear forces. A guiding device serves to axially guide the pressure actuating element on the main part. Said guiding device has at least one guiding pin. Said guiding pin slides in at least one associated guiding groove during movement.

  • Publication number: 20180000690
Abstract: An apparatus for transferring a liquid between a storage container and at least one further use container has a storage-container sealing portion for leaktight abutment of a main body of the transfer apparatus against the storage container. A hollow-needle assembly has a hollow needle. The hollow-needle assembly can be displaced in a linear manner along a movement axis relative to the main body by means of a gear mechanism between a retracted rest position and an extended connecting position. In the latter, the hollow needle creates a liquid connecting duct between the storage container and the transfer apparatus. A connecting portion serves to connect the transfer apparatus to the use container in a leaktight manner. A rotary-actuation element is operatively connected to the hollow-needle assembly via the gear mechanism. The gear mechanism has a driver ring that is mounted in the main body axially and so as to be rotatable about the movement axis.

  • Publication number: 20170367931
Abstract: A hollow-needle assembly is part of a transfer apparatus that serves for transferring a liquid between a storage container and a further use container. The hollow-needle assembly has a hollow needle having a pointed needle end. A liquid duct for transporting liquid through the hollow needle and out of the latter leads out via at least one liquid-duct opening in the region of the free needle end. An aeration gas duct that likewise leads out via a gas-duct opening in the region of the free needle end serves for transporting gas through the hollow-needle assembly. Duct paths of the at least one liquid duct and of the at least one aeration gas duct extend separately from one another. The ducts lead out adjacently to one another axially along the hollow needle and in a manner offset from one another in the circumferential direction.

  • Patent number: 9498577
Abstract: The invention concerns a dosing system for adjusting a dose volume of a fluid medium. The dosing system has a longitudinal center axis, a dosing sleeve with at least one communication opening, a dosing plunger, which can move axially in the dosing sleeve between a retracted and a depressed position to take up and dispense the medium through the communication opening, and a retraction limiting element to delimit a maximum axial retraction path of the dosing plunger. The retraction limiting element in at least one position can be axially fixed to the dosing plunger and can move radially to the longitudinal center axis between an inner position, axially fixed on the dosing plunger, and an outer position relative to the dosing plunger. In the inner position, it is completely inside the dosing sleeve. Furthermore, the dosing system has an end stop arranged on the dosing sleeve for interaction with the retraction limiting element in the retracted position of the dosing plunger.

  • Patent number: 9237987
Abstract: A metering device is used for the metered administration of a flowable preparation together with a flowable carrier medium. A storage container for the preparation has at least one access opening. A metering plunger body can be moved in a sealed manner in the storage container between a starting position and at least one metering position. The metering plunger body is hollow. A metering sleeve has on a bottom side an eccentric metering sleeve opening. An inner plunger body has on the bottom side an eccentrically arranged plunger body opening. In a through relative rotation position of the metering sleeve relative to the inner plunger body a passage is provided between the inside of the storage container and the inside of the inner plunger body. In a closed relative rotational position this passage is closed. This results in a user-friendly and compact metering device.

  • Publication number: 20150217105
Abstract: A catheter coupling has a tubing and two jaws extending in the longitudinal direction of the tubing which form a channel having an orifice to accommodate an end section of a catheter when the jaws abut against each other. The jaws are interconnected at a respective jaw end via a jaw joint having a joint axis extending transversely to the tubing. The other jaw end is in each case provided with a snap-in locking member and a counter snap-in locking member, respectively, interacting therewith to form a snap-in locking arrangement. In the engagement position, the tubing is deformed by at least one jaw deformation component to securely accommodate the catheter end section. The catheter coupling has at least one inspection window in a base body. The inspection window allows a stop in the tubing for the end section of the catheter to be visually inspected. As a result, a catheter coupling is obtained which prevents an end section of the catheter from being introduced into the tubing if said end section is too short.

  • Publication number: 20150119810
Abstract: The invention relates to a dosage system for setting a dosage volume of a flowable medium. The dosage system comprises a longitudinal axis, a dosage container for receiving the medium, and a dosage piston body which is adapted for sealed displacement in the dosage container between an initial position and a dosage position. In the initial position, the dosage piston body is fully inserted in the dosage container while in the dosage position, the dosage piston body has been pulled out of the dosage container along a path corresponding to the desired dosage amount of the medium. The dosage system further exhibits a draw-up limiting member for limiting a draw-up path of the dosage piston body in the dosage position, the draw-up limiting member being axially securable to the dosage container in one of several limiting positions relative to the longitudinal axis.

  • Publication number: 20150032061
Abstract: A medical injection device has a syringe. The syringe has a container for the medium to be injected and an injection cannula, which communicates with the container. A needle guard of the injection device can be moved between an injection position and a safe position. In the injection position, the injection cannula can be uncovered in order to inject the medium. In the safe position, a cannula tip of the injection cannula is recessed in a protective component of the needle guard. A securing device securely fixes the protective component in the safe position. The result is an injection device having a needle guard that can be manipulated intuitively and operated safely.
