  • Patent number: 7621360
Abstract: A drive unit for a floor trolley, with at least one steered wheel (1), which is attached to a vehicle chassis (3) so that it can swivel about an essentially vertical swivel axis (2), a drive motor (4) with a drive shaft (5) being arranged coaxially with the swivel axis (2). The motor is in driving connection with the at least one wheel (1) via a gear system (10). The drive motor (4) and the gear system (10) are mounted in a common housing (16), consisting essentially of two separate housing portions, namely, a lower and an upper housing (portion 16a, 16b), that can be joined together by a fastening mechanism (18), and is mounted to rotate on the chassis (3) via at least one roller bearing (19). A drive unit is provided that at least one of the two housing portions (16a, 16b) is associated with a drawbar connection (20) formed integrally therewith by way of the housing (16) being swiveled relative to the chassis (3) about the swivel axis (2).

  • Patent number: 7404676
Abstract: An axial securing system for the wheel bearing of a pole-guided vehicle is described, in which the wheel bearing is positioned in line with the pole pivot point (1) and centrally with respect to the wheel area, the system comprising at least two clip-rings (3) seated in grooves (7), and the parts of the housing (4, 5) that form a gap (6) over the clip-rings (3) are extended in the direction of the clip-rings (3) so that the gap (6) above the clip-rings (3) is smaller than the grooves (7) in which the clip-rings (3) are seated.

  • Patent number: 7245052
Abstract: A wheel hub drive for a running wheel (10) is described. The drive having a transmission (7), a motor (8) and a brake (11), such that the enveloping circle (9) of the wheel hub drive is determined by the running wheel and the transmission (7), motor (8) and brake are located within a circle whose radius is determined by the running wheel (10).

  • Publication number: 20060196290
Abstract: A bevel gear transmission without shims, especially for a controllable wheel of a service vehicle such as a lift truck, with a one-piece housing for the acceptance of a bevel gearset, a plurality of bearing borings, for the support of a pinion gear shaft, a UniPack bearing and a sealing cover. The sealing cover (2) is placed at a position at which the vertical borings (3, 4) for the bearings (5, 6) of the pinion gear shaft (7) are to be placed, and the cover being provided with a circumferential protrusion (8), which enables that an appropriately dimensioned tool can be vertically introduced into the one-piece housing (1) for a precise construction of the housing which is designed to the closely tolerated dimensions of sections (A) and (B).

  • Publication number: 20020134597
Abstract: An electrical individual wheel drive has one electric motor (2) the output shaft of which is connected with an inner central gear (3) of a transmission (4) to form one piece. The ring gear (5) of the transmission is non-turnably held and the planet carrier (9) forms the output. The output shaft (1) of the electric motor (2) is supported via a bearing (7)in the housing of the electric motor (2), on one side, and side via bearings (8) of the planet carrier (9), on the other.
