  • Patent number: 5316253
Abstract: In order to make it possible to align a concrete form while at the same time providing a safe working walkway therealong, a scaffold bracket comprises a generally triangular shaped brace having an attachment leg, a plank supporting leg and a brace leg. The attachment leg is adapted to be secured to an outer surface of the concrete form, the plank supporting leg extends generally transversely of the attachment leg, and the brace leg extends from the attachment leg to the plank supporting leg at an acute angle to both the attachment leg and the plank supporting leg. A first stop is provided on the plank supporting leg at a preselected distance outwardly of the attachment leg to define a waler bracket for accepting a plank of predetermined width for aligning the concrete form. A second stop is provided on the plank supporting leg at a preselected distance outwardly of the first stop to define an outer limit for accepting one or more planks of predetermined width for creating a working walkway.

  • Patent number: 4553729
Abstract: A modular concrete form structure including a series of at least three vertically extending rows of concrete form panels to be joined together in side-by-side relation as a gang for use in the formation of straight or curved concrete walls. The panels have confronting slotted panel margins about their perimeters. Fasteners secure the confronting panel margins in side-by-side relation. A series of spaced vertically aligned a horizontally positioned mini-walers are provided for mounted disposition in lapped engagement against the confronting slotted panel margins. The mini-walers each have a width exceeding the width of the form panel and being of sufficient additional width to extend over joints formed between the confronting slotted panel margins at opposite sides of each panel to provide a backing. Fasteners are provided for securing the spaced vertically aligned horizontally positioned mini-walers to the panels.

  • Patent number: 4043087
Abstract: Method and means for supporting an elevated concrete wall panel form, wherein a bolt member is removably inserted through a first concrete wall panel to extent horizontally therethrough and project axially from opposite sides thereof, whereby a wall of a form for a second concrete wall panel in superposed relation to the first panel may be seated on one projecting end of the bolt member and the bolt member is rendered accessible from its opposite end, and the seated form wall is secured between the first wall panel and a retaining member projecting laterally from said one end of the bolt member, the retaining member being mounted on the bolt member for disposition permitting withdrawal of the bolt member through the first wall panel and from said opposite end of the bolt member after forming a second wall panel.

  • Patent number: 3965543
Abstract: A releasable, reusable, slip-on, she-bolt type gripper device designed for telescopic reception therein or therethrough of one of the projecting end regions of a cylindrical horizontally extending tie rod as used in connection with a concrete wall form or the like and adapted to receive the reaction pull of the tie rod incident to the pouring of wet concrete between the wall form sides. The device embodies a series of circumferentially arranged chuck-forming jaws which normally grip the adjacent tie rod end region but which become released therefrom when a hollow pull rod through which said tie rod end region extends is actuated.
