    Abstract: A trigger device for an explosion barrier includes a pressure sensor and at least two flame sensors. The pressure sensor energizes the flame sensors in response to a predetermined pressure rise, and the explosion barrier is triggered when a flame is detected by both flame sensors. The flame sensors are oriented at different angles in order to prevent false firing by miner's lamps, etc.
