  • Patent number: 6613024
Abstract: A single-hand controlled syringe having a plunger slidably mounted within a barrel. The plunger and barrel are of double wall construction with the outer wall of the plunger being slidably mounted in the space between the inner and outer walls of the barrel. A spring is mounted in the space between the inner and outer walls of the plunger. By this construction and arrangement, the alignment of the plunger within the barrel is maintained; the spring is hidden from view and the syringe can be easily assembled and disassembled for cleaning.

  • Patent number: 5706963
Abstract: The child resistant closure of the present invention comprises a cap having a first skirt portion adapted to be threaded on the neck of a container, and a second skirt portion having a pair diametrically disposed tabs provided with depending lugs adapted to engage a pair of diametrically disposed upwardly extending lugs integral with a ring molded integral with the neck of the container below the thread portion thereon. The lugs on the ring are positioned in proximity to the outer peripheral edge of the ring and are configured so that when screwing the cap onto the container the tab lugs will deflect radially outwardly when ratcheting over the ring lugs. When turning the cap in the opposite direction, the tab lugs engage the ring lugs to prevent removal of the cap. To remove the cap, the tabs are manually pressed radially inwardly away from the ring lugs while the cap is being turned in a direction to unscrew it from the container.

  • Patent number: 5544768
Abstract: A child resistant closure wherein a ratchet-type cap is threadably mounted on the neck of a container having a ring member integral therewith. A resilient tab having a ratchet tooth thereon is integral with the ring and engageable with ratchet teeth on the cap. The ratchet tooth on the tab and cooperating ratchet teeth on the cap are hidden from view to render the closure more child resistant.

  • Patent number: 5316161
Abstract: A child resistant closure having an inner cap and an outer cap. The inner cap is normally biased into engagement with the outer cap for screwing the closure onto the container but the outer cap and inner cap become disengaged when the outer cap is turned in a direction to remove the closure from the container resulting in the outer cap being freely rotatable on the inner cap. Cooperating rigid fingers and teeth are provided on the inner and outer caps which become engaged when the outer cap is pushed downwardly to interconnect the inner and outer caps so that the closure can be removed from the container.

  • Patent number: 5226572
Abstract: A bulb actuator for a dropper closure wherein an overcap is mounted on the dropper closure. A bulb squeeze member is slidably mounted in the overcap and has a pair of fingers engaging and straddling the bulb. The fingers are cammed inwardly to squeeze the bulb when the bulb squeeze member is pressed inwardly of the overcap.

  • Patent number: 4168783
Abstract: An intravenous bottle holder providing support of the bottle when the bottle is shipped or stored in its upright position, and providing a means for securely hanging the bottle in inverted position during its use, is provided. The bottle holder comprises an integral molded structure including a disc member having an opening therein, a pleated bail member spanning the opening, and an annular skirt depending from one disc side formed with an annular snap ring on the inside skirt portion so that the holder can be demountably attached to a desired bottle.

  • Patent number: 3945060
Abstract: A liquid dispensing bottle has a mounting clip for hanging the bottle in an inverted position within a flush tank of a toilet for automatically dispensing a predetermined amount of liquid during each flushing operation. A circular boss is formed on the bottom wall of the bottle and the clip is rotatably mounted thereon for movement between stored and hanging positions. The clip has a pair of arcuate fingers which circumferentially, slidably engage the boss, and an L-shaped member a portion of which extends upwardly along a protuberance formed in a lower portion of the bottle side wall when in a stored position. The L-shaped member forms a channel or hook with the side wall of the bottle when the clip is rotated 90.degree. from stored to hanging position and the top edge of the flash tank is engaged by the L-shaped member to hang the bottle thereon.
