  • Patent number: 4534504
Abstract: A partition for utilization in a container to provide appropriate support for bottles, jugs or containers which may be fragile, wherein the partition is formed from a single planar blank having a central opening and a first pair of partition walls foldably connected to each other on one side of the opening. A second pair of partition walls are foldably connected to each other on the other side of the opening. The opening is partially bounded by parallel longitudinal edges of the opening, with each of these opening edges being provided by aligned edges of a pair of the partitions. The blank is foldable, with the partition walls being folded back on the order of 90.degree. with respect to each other as the said walls are folded toward each other so that the fold line connections between the two sets of walls meet and the partitions extend at angles to each other.

  • Patent number: 4239148
Abstract: A box for storing files is formed from a single blank of paperboard. The blank consists of a centrally located bottom wall panel having side wall panels foldably connected thereto. Each of the centrally located bottom walls panels and side wall panels have an end wall panel extending from a transverse edge thereof so that when the side wall panels are folded 90.degree. relative to the bottom wall panel, the end wall panels on the transverse edges of the side walls and bottom walls can be overlapped and locked together. Connected to the outer longitudinal edges of each of the side wall panels is a top wall panel substantially half the width of the centrally located bottom panel. The top wall panels are adapted to be folded 90.degree. relative to the side walls to form a cover for the box. Longitudinally extending tabs extend from the transverse edges of each of the top wall panels and can be inserted within an opening in the end walls to lock the top wall panels in place on the box.

  • Patent number: 4105153
Abstract: A paperboard bulk bin particularly suited for use in handling and transporting of large sections of meat products and the like is of two-piece construction, one portion being a side wall formed of alternating, foldably connected, rectangular upstanding side and corner panels, and a peripheral base support formed of interconnected horizontally disposed stepped flaps and locking flaps. The second portion is a bottom wall formed from a flat panel and having a perimeter corresponding to the bottom edges of the side and corner panels, and overlying the peripheral support base. The alternate stepped flaps and locking flaps are specifically designed in order to form a snap-lock peripheral base portion which holds the paperboard bulk bin in shape and is adapted to receive the bottom wall for subsequent loading and transporting of the meat products.
