    Abstract: A cigar box includes a pedestal lid and a base. The base includes front, rear and side panels and a bottom panel. The lid includes a top panel and a front panel. Side edges of the lid are slidably insertable into channels in opposing interior surfaces of the side panels of the base. In a first configuration, the top panel is inserted into the base to close the cigar box. In a second configuration, the lid is removed from the base and placed underneath the bottom panel of the base such that the base is inclined towards its front panel lower. In this configuration, gravity causes cigars within an interior volume of the base to roll downwardly to the front of the base, where an opening in the front panel of the base facilitates their removal.
