    Abstract: An electrically weldable spring hinge for eyeglasses includes a housing open on a bottom side having a cavity into which a spring element may be inserted and in which at least one support element is provided. The spring hinge additionally includes a hinge element displaceably supported in the housing. The at least one support element is essentially centrally located in the region of an open end face section of the housing and, starting from a base area of the housing, protrudes into the cavity in a freestanding manner. A welding button for electrically welding the housing to the eyeglass element is provided on the bottom side of the support element facing an eyeglass element.
