  • Patent number: 4982237
Abstract: A photoelectrophoretic imaging apparatus in which a disposable, electrically biased blocking web has a portion thereof in contact with a moving heated member. A disposable imaging web, electrically biased to a polarity opposite to the polarity of the blocking web, contacts the heated portion of the blocking web. Photosensitive particles dispersed in a normally solid waxy binder matrix are interposed between the imaging web and the blocking web. A light image is projected onto the heated portion of the imaging web contacting the blocking web causing selective migration of the photosensitive particles in the liquefied waxy binder matrix in image configuration.

  • Patent number: 4887129
Abstract: An apparatus in which an altered copy of an original document is produced. An editing device associated with an electrophotographic printing machine changes the information in the original document and generates a signal indicative of the changes therein. The information is stored in an erasable read-only memory. The erasable read-only memory is inserted into the copying machine to conrol the formation of the copies so as to correspond to the edited original document.

  • Patent number: 4739371
Abstract: A removable belt module for use in a reproduction machine for replacing photoreceptor belts including a pair of support rolls for supporting the photoreceptor belt and a pivot element disposed intermediate the support rolls and connected thereto by connecting arms, the arms being disposed in relative horizontal position for exerting tension on the belt for operation of the belt and being disposed in a relatively perpendicular relationship for relaxing the tension and replacing the belt. The belt module further includes shafts for engaging slots in the machine to mount the belt module and further includes a drive sprocket connected to one of the shafts for driving the photoreceptor belt.
