Abstract: A user interface facilitates a user designing one or more logging pipelines that may run concurrently on a computer system for logging information relative to one or more respective application. Custom object instances that run in a POD facilitate translating the applications’ formats, protocols, and rules for use by generic logging function components selected by the user when designing the pipelines. The custom object instances facilitate updates to a given pipeline being implemented without affecting other active pipelines that are logging application activity.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method, device, and computer program product for managing index tables. There is provided a method of managing index tables, comprising: determining the number of indexing requests for documents, the indexing requests being received within a predetermined period of time; obtaining information related to a processing index table in an index processing system, the processing index table being used for storing indices generated based on the indexing requests, the index processing system further comprising a receiving index table, the receiving index table being used for storing at least a part of the indices in the processing index table; and adjusting, based on the number of indexing requests and the obtained information, the number of processing index tables in the index processing system.

For instance, a method includes: in response to a query request on an input data stream, determining data labels for input data items in the input data stream, the data labels at least indicating a first matching relationship between the input data items and a first query condition of the query request; determining an output data stream corresponding to the input data stream, the output data stream including output data items corresponding to the input data items, and each output data item having a data label; and determining query information corresponding to the query request based on the output data stream. In this way, it is possible to respond to real-time query requests for data streams.

For instance, a first polling interval between a current polling operation and a previous polling operation is polled, the first polling interval indicating a time period from an end of the previous polling operation to a start of the current polling operation. An execution status of the current polling operation is obtained, the execution status indicating whether an object to be polled for the current polling operation is obtained. Further, based on the first polling interval and the execution status, a second polling interval is determined between the current polling operation and the next polling operation, the second polling interval indicating a time period from an end of the current polling operation to a start of the next polling operation. In this way, the solution can provide a stable and efficient adaptive polling.

A group of data objects in the storage system are mapped to a group of buckets in the address mapping, the group of buckets being divided into a first group of active shards which are associated with a group of storage devices in the storage system, respectively. In the method, a first write request for writing a first data object to the storage system is received. The address mapping is updated so as to map the first data object to a first bucket in the group of buckets. The storage system is instructed to store the first data object to a first storage device in the group of storage devices, and the first storage device is associated with a first active shard to which the first bucket belongs. The storage system is managed based on the updated address mapping.
