Patent number: 12366824Abstract: Differential Holography technology measures the amplitude and/or phase of, e.g., an incident linearly polarized spatially coherent quasi-monochromatic optical field by optically computing the first derivative of the field and linearly mapping it to an irradiance signal detectable by an image sensor. This information recorded on the image sensor is then recovered by a simple algorithm. In some embodiments, an input field is split into two or more beams to independently compute the horizontal and vertical derivatives (using amplitude gradient filters in orthogonal orientations) for detection on one image sensor in separate regions of interest (ROIs) or on multiple image sensors. A third unfiltered beam recorded in a third ROI directly measures amplitude variations in the input field to numerically remove its contribution as noise before recovering the original wavefront using a numerical in algorithm.Type: GrantFiled: November 24, 2021Date of Patent: July 22, 2025Assignee: LAWRENCE LIVERMORE NATIONAL SECURITY, LLCInventor: Frank Ravizza

Patent number: 12368768Abstract: In one embodiment, a method may use one or more Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to receive data associated with a web application from a first user interface (UI) client device. The method may use the one or more REST APIs to determine a stateless operation by performing stateless pre-processing on the data associated with the web application and one or more contextual features associated with the stateless operation. The method may determine an augmented notification by applying an augmentation operation on the one or more contextual features and the stateless operation. The method may determine a stateful operation using the augmented notification. The method may receive a request for an update on the data associated with the web application from a second UI client device. In response to receiving the request, the method may communicate the stateful operation to the second UI client device.Type: GrantFiled: January 19, 2024Date of Patent: July 22, 2025Assignee: CISCO TECHNOLOGY, INC.Inventors: Marco Trinelli, Frank Brockners, Tamás Galló, Rafael Machado da Silva, Trevor George Smith

Patent number: 12368779Abstract: A method of communicating with a microservice in an industrial facility. The method is implemented by a controller and includes obtaining one or more data structure types, wherein the data structure types are generated based on an API definition associated with the microservice, generating one or more variables based on the obtained data structure types, wherein the variables are associated with one or more function blocks of the controller, and transmitting data associated with the variables to the microservice via a proxy component. The controller transmits the data associated with the variables in a serialized binary format associated with the variables to the proxy component. The proxy component is configured to translate to translate the data from the serialized binary data to a first serialization format and transmit the data in the first serialization format to the microservice.Type: GrantFiled: July 18, 2022Date of Patent: July 22, 2025Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Johannes Frank, Ingo Thon

Patent number: 12368408Abstract: Many PV panel frames are attached to PV panel mounting structures with through-bolting mechanisms. These PV panel frames subjected to high internal stresses around the through-bolting mechanism making them susceptible to fatigue failures. The introduction of a custom backing plate to the through-bolting mechanism can reduce PV panel frame fatigue failure when compared to the state of the art in the current through-bolting mechanism design. The custom backing plate is tuned in shape and thickness to reduce PV panel frame fatigue failure. In addition to reducing total fatigue stresses in the PV frame, the disclosed technology increases peak load rating of the PV panel frame.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2025Date of Patent: July 22, 2025Assignee: HOLDCO212, LLCInventors: Christopher Thomas Needham, Frank Carl Oudheusden
