The systems and methods may include identifying risk data that may be used at least partially to calculate a risk score. The systems and methods may also include identifying control data that may be used at least partially to calculate a control score. The risk score and the control score may be compared to one another. An assessment of the risks and controls application may be performed at least partially based on the risk score and the control score. A threshold value may be set for the risk score and/or the control score that are compared and used to assess an application.

Abstract: A process is described for preparing stabilized tablet formulations for temperature and moisture sensitive active drugs. Water soluble polyvinyl alcohol is processed with drugs such as angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors and compressed into solid form once excess water is removed. Low dose polyvinyl alcohol ramipril tablets prepared by this process are stable under conditions of high humidity and heat for periods of at least up to six months with less than 8% hydrolysis of the prodrug to the active metabolite diketopiperazine (DKP).

The processor may be configured to determine whether a web page may be adapted or should be viewed in its original form, transcode the original web page to generate a transcoded version of the web page if it is determined that the web page may be adapted, and to send data comprising either the original web page of the transcoded version to a remote device. Users may request a different version than the processor's initial determination, and an aggregation of such user preferences may be used to make a better determination of what version to send by default to all users. Corresponding methods, computer program products, and systems are also provided.

Abstract: An audio crosstalk-cancelling network that may be implemented in software, such that when run in real time on a personal computer, the canceller has very low mips requirements and uses a small fraction of available CPU cycles. The network is particularly useful for rendering surround sound images outside the space between left and right computer multimedia loudspeakers when the audio from such sources is reproduced. The network includes two signal feedback paths, each feedback path having a time delay and frequency dependent characteristic. The frequency dependent characteristic represents the smoothed difference in the attenuation in the acoustic path between a transducer and the listener's ear farthest from said transducer and the attenuation in the acoustic path between the same transducer and the listener's ear closest to said same transducer. The smoothed difference in the attenuation is implemented by one or more simple digital filters requiring low processing power.
