  • Patent number: 7283155
Abstract: A camera actuator system that includes a camera and actuator components. The actuator components are used to move and stop the camera. The actuator components are driven by the motor. The actuator components include a rear pan stop, drive shaft spacer, tilt cable, rear tilt pulley, support block, friction O-ring, stop collar, camera support legs, front pan stop and a front tilt pulley. The drive shaft spacer, lower tilt pulley, support block, friction O-ring and stop collar all have shaft holes, which allow the drive shaft to pass on through to each component.

  • Patent number: 7217044
Abstract: A camera system having a pole, camera mount assembly and an actuator. The camera mount assembly mounts to the pole and includes a pole base, camera base, link, tendon and spring. The pole base connects to the pole and the camera base connects to the camera. The link connects the pole base and the camera base and allows rotation of the camera base. The tendon pulls on the camera base and rotates the camera base about the pole base. The spring interconnects the pole base and the camera base. The spring also acts as a return. The spring stretches when the tendon pulls on the camera base and recoils to pull the camera base back to an original position when the tendon is released from pulling on the camera base. The actuator mounts to an actuator end of the pole and is used pull the tendon in order to move the camera.

  • Patent number: 6962313
Abstract: A camera support and actuator including a Z-shape rod, a camera, an actuator and a skid plate. The Z-shape rod includes a handle section at a top, a camera support section at a bottom and a middle section between the handle and camera support sections. The handle and camera support sections being approximately parallel to a surface and the middle section extending upward from the camera support section to the handle section. The camera is mounted to the camera support section. The actuator is mounted on the handle section to cause movement of the camera. The actuator includes a shaft internal to the handle section of the Z-shaped rod and is connected to the camera by a cable to cause movement of the camera. The actuator includes a handle to allow the shaft to be push and pulled inside the handle section to control movement of the camera.

  • Patent number: 4863130
Abstract: A support bracket for attaching an electronic imaging camera to a surface by vacuum comprised of suction cups attached to a bracket that is hinged to a second bracket that a camera is pivotally attached to. Also a mirror assembly that can be attached to the second bracket to provide a mirror image view for the camera when used on a vehicle as an electronic rear view mirror. This support bracket allows easy change of location and field of view of an electronic imaging camera while it is also capable of being adjusted to provide a horizontally aligned field of view for the camera.
