    Abstract: A process for manufacturing a nozzle tip of an elongated valve closing orifice type comprises rolling a tubular workpiece so as to form a circumferential indentation in said workpiece. The interior surface of the indented wall is precisely ground to form an integral collar which functions as guide surface for the valve member.
