  • Patent number: 7529235
Abstract: An Internet based Time Distributed Message Network (TDMN) system and the Personal Mobile Access Device (PMAD) access the system to perform one to one or one to group two-way voice/video and data communications between/among PMADs. The present invention encodes and packs the original voice/video and data information into Time Distributed Message Unit (TDMU). The TDMN system routes the TDMU from the sender PMAD to receiver PMAD. To do this, the TDMN system forms two virtual links (virtual control and security data link, virtual communication data link) to connect the sending and receiving PMADs. When all TDMUs of one operation reach the destination PMAD, the receiving PMAD decodes and reassembles them into the original data format, and runs the corresponding applications. Because the TDMU transmission and reassembly are time distributed, the shortage of the Internet transmission cannot affect the transmission and the reassembly of the TDMU. So the virtual links formed by the TDMN system provides excellent QOS.

  • Patent number: 7167723
Abstract: A dual channel redundant wireless network link formed by the Redundant Fixed Wireless Network Link device 10 of the present invention provides a very high reliable network element for mission critical wireless network application. Redundant Fixed Wireless Link device (10) with two wireless networking radio channel (11, 12) turned on simultaneously, and running networking service feature is working as Service Equipment (SE). Both wireless networking radio channel (11, 12) of the SE have the same directional wireless network coverage area. The two wireless networking radio channels (11, 12) are separated by cross polarization of antenna at same radio frequency, or different radio frequency characteristics. One Redundant Fixed Wireless Link device (10) with one of its two wireless networking radio channel (11, 12) turned on and communicating with said SE, and loaded with networking client feature is acting as Client Equipment (CE).

  • Patent number: 7136619
Abstract: A Multi-Channel Redundant Wireless Network Link (RWNL) device (10) comprises a plurality of wireless networking radio units, a processor unit, a radio control unit, and wired network units. Two RWNL devices communicating to each other form a multi-channel redundant wireless network communication link. The RWNL device aggrades the networking bandwidth of all its wireless networking units to become a big networking bandwidth. Network packets flow control means controls the networking packets transmitted between the wireless networking units and wired networking unit, the communication between the local wireless networking units to remote wireless networking units of the other RWNL. When the communication of one of the wireless networking channels failed to continue the communication, the flow control means will redistribute the packet flow among the remaining wireless networking radio units, shutdown the problem wireless networking channel, and report the networking status.

  • Patent number: 7061774
Abstract: A compact computer system board 10 comprises dual on PCB expansion zones 11, 12, expansion connectors 113, 123 which can be connected to expansion boards. Once a expansion board is connected to the expansion connector 113 (123) in the on PCB expansion zone 11 (12) to extent the application of the system 10, a metal housing cover 20 will be mounted above the on PCB expansion zone 11(12). The shield expansion apparatus formed by on PCB expansion zone 11 (12) and metallic housing cover 20 isolates the electromagnetic interference between add-on expansion daughter card and the environment outside of the shield expansion apparatus. The metal housing cover 20 as well as the on PCB expansion zone 11 (12) function as the heat sink of the add-on expansion daughter card inside the apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20020084334
Abstract: A digital electronic audio player (DEAP) shaped similar to a cassette tape can be inserted into a cassette tape player such as a car cassette player. When the DEAP is inserted into a cassette player, the cassette tape play simulation and motion detection means sense the operation from the cassette player. When the play forward function of the cassette player is selected, the DEAP senses the operation from the player and plays the audio message in the memory; and output signal through the signal coupling magnetic head to the magnetic head of the cassette player just like a cassette tape. When the other functions (play backward, forward music search/fast forward, reverse music search/rewind etc.) are selected from the cassette player, the DEAP senses and dose the corresponding operations. The extension adaptor can be optionally mounted onto the digital electronic audio player, the new integrity works as one unit which has more memory, power supply and can communicate with a computer.
