Abstract: A foldable wheelchair having a light weight construction employing an interlocking mechanism between the individual parts to provide a wheelchair of improved structural stability without a separate frame assembly. The wheelchair comprises molded panels, which are interchangeable, and support elements, also interchangeable, the entire assembly being connected together by means of interlocking buttons and pins or rods.
