Patents by Inventor Fransiscus Wilhelmus Sijstermans

Fransiscus Wilhelmus Sijstermans has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Publication number: 20180129631
Abstract: A data processing device provides for registers which can be formatted as segments containing numbers to which operations can be applied in SIMD fashion. In addition it is possible to perform operations which combine different segments of one register or segments at different positions in the different registers. By providing specially selected it is thus made possible to perform multidimensional separable transformations (like the 2-dimensional IDCT) without transposing the numbers in the registers.

    Filed: January 9, 2018
    Publication date: May 10, 2018
Inventors: JOSEPHUS THEODORUS JOHANNES VAN EIJNDHOVEN, Fransiscus Wilhelmus Sijstermans
  • Patent number: 7293258
Abstract: A data processor has a debug circuit arranged to monitor whether operand data used for execution of a program meets a debug exception condition. The debug exception condition tests a two or more of multi-bit subfields of a vector operand independently. Debug action is taken if one or more of the multi-bit subfields meet the corresponding conditions.

    Filed: May 17, 2000
Date of Patent: November 6, 2007
    Assignee: NXP B.V.
Inventors: Hendrikus Petrus Elisabeth Vranken, Kornelis Antonius Vissers, Fransiscus Wilhelmus Sijstermans
  • Patent number: 6970176
Abstract: Video is processed based on the color content of a video frame. A frame-specific or sequence-specific color cube is created in order to efficiently use the available bandwidth, and to efficiently carry out conventional video operations. The color cube is a statistically tuned subset of the original color space.

Inventors: Pieter Sierd Van Der Meulen, Fransiscus Wilhelmus Sijstermans
  • Patent number: 6714258
Abstract: A video apparatus includes a circuit for reducing noise in applied input video signals. The noise reducing circuit is provided with a temporal noise filter (S1, LUT, M), a down-sample unit (D) for obtaining a spatial down-sampling of video signals (Vi) of subsequent pixels, these down-sampled video signals being supplied to the temporal noise filter (S1, LUT, M), and an up-sample unit (U) for generating, in response to noise output signals obtained in the temporal noise filter (S1, LUT, M), noise signals of the pixels, and a subtractor (S2) for subtracting the noise signals from the respective input video signals (Vi).
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 14, 2001
Date of Patent: March 30, 2004
    Assignee: Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V.
Inventors: Jeroen Hubert Christoffel Jacobus Stessen, Gerard De Haan, Robert Jan Schutten, Fransiscus Wilhelmus Sijstermans
