  • Publication number: 20120184377
Abstract: The invention relates to an elastic coupling in disc construction, in particular for damping torsional vibrations of an internal combustion engine, having the following features: a first coupling half, which comprises two side discs, which are connected in a rotationally-fixed manner on the outer circumference; a second coupling half, which is formed by at least one middle disc assigned to a hub, which is arranged between the side discs and enveloped thereby; the two coupling halves are pivotable to a limited extent to one another against the force of at least one elastic coupling element; the side discs delimit a liquid-tight inner space, which receives the middle disc, at least one damping chamber, which is variable in volume during the mutual pivoting of the coupling halves and is filled with a damping medium, is arranged in the radial outer area of the inner space; a floating damping ring, which is pivotable to a limited extent in relation to each of the two coupling halves, is introduced into the inne

  • Publication number: 20090026947
Abstract: A method for producing a discharge tube arrangement (1) for a lamp, and a discharge tube arrangement produced according to one such method. The arrangement has an outer piston (2) into which a discharge tube (6) is inserted, the outer piston being sealed to the discharge tube and defining a gas-tight intermediate region (12) therewith, for receiving a gas inflation (14). According to the invention, the intermediate region (12) is cleaned and/or filled with gas via the discharge tube (6).

  • Patent number: 6695108
Abstract: The invention relates to a starting unit for use in drive systems, especially of motor vehicles, which comprises a hydrodynamic speed/torque converter including at least one pump wheel, one turbine wheel and one stator, and comprises a torque converter lockup clutch. The output ends of the torque converter lockup clutch and of the speed/torque converter are interconnected in a rotationally fixed manner. In addition, a device for damping vibrations is provided which comprises at least one torsional vibration damper with hydraulic damping.

  • Patent number: 5064042
Abstract: The invention concerns a torsionally elastic clutch whose clutch halves are nested in disk fashion and feature window-shaped cutouts which house tangentially arranged helical springs, with an outer guide body arranged in the outer peripheral area of the individual spring and preventing the spring from buckling, which body is shorter than the spring. The clutch is characterized in that an inner guide body is provided also within the individual spring, which body is shorter than the spring, and in that the two guide bodies are in relation to the spring fixed in such a way that one guide body will remain constantly coordinated with the one end area of the spring and the other guide body constantly with the other end area of the spring.
