  • Publication number: 20010008079
Abstract: There is provided a warp knitting machine with summing drive for the displacement of a guide bar in which at least one addition member is made operative by an eccentric cam which, with the assistance of a switchable coupling, is rotated 180° by a drive shaft. The mean rate of rotation of the drive shaft depends upon the main drive shaft and which rate, at the switching moment, is substantially reduced to 0. A sensor obtains the rate of rotation and the turning angle position of the main shaft and provides an appropriate sensor signal. A motor control mechanism for an electric motor includes an input port for the sensor signal.

  • Patent number: 5918484
Abstract: There is provided a warp knitting machine with a fall plate bar having a guide bar assembly carrying guide bars 2 and 3, a supplemental shaft 8 which rotates in dependence upon the main shaft 9 and carries steering device 11. These are part of a fall plate drive which moves the fall plate bar 25 to and fro via a lever arrangement 27. This construction has a comparatively low mass and permits higher drive speeds.

  • Patent number: 4702330
Abstract: The braking and steering brake system of the present invention comprises two master cylinders, operable singly or jointly via brake pedals, with the master cylinders having a primary and a secondary piston each operating in a bore. The primary pressure chambers formed by the pistons are connected to the rear wheel brakes of a vehicle. The secondary pressure chambers are interconnected via a pressure fluid line in any state of operation. The primary pressure chambers via a valve arrangement and pressure medium line are interconnected in both the release position and in the braking position. The brakes of the non-steering-braked front axle are connected to the pressure fluid line. In a steering brake position, through a compression spring, one of the two valve arrangements closes so that only the steered-braked brake is supplied with pressure medium.
