Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrical assembly (1) with an outer protective sheath (3). According to the invention, an inner sheath (4), which comprises a higher viscosity or elasticity than the outer protective sheath (3), is provided between the electrical assembly (1) and the outer protective sheath (3) at least at a partial area of the assembly (1).

Abstract: A toothpaste containing typical components and a combination of silicas and dicalcium phosphate dihydrate (brushite) as its polishing component provides for particularly good restoration of the surface of teeth. This is achieved by controlled remineralization, particularly in scratch marks and dentinal canals. The effect can be enhanced by addition of magnesium ions and/or fluorophosphate ions.

Abstract: Powder-form preparations of surface-active alkyl glycosides contain 5 to 65% by weight of a surface-active alkyl glycoside and 35 to 95% by weight of an inert inorganic support. They are produced by mixing the crude product obtained in the industrial production of the alkyl glycosides with water and an inorganic particulate support, for example silica, chalk or sodium chloride, and drying the resulting mixture. Preferred powder-form preparations contain 20 to 50% by weight of the alkyl glycoside and 50 to 80% by weight of an inert inorganic support.

Abstract: Strands of multicolored, striped toothpaste, more especially with a cross-section in the form an n-sided polygon, where n is an integer of 3 to 7, can be dispensed without diffuse transition zones from a storage container providing the ratio between the yield points of the carrier strand paste and the stripe paste is approximately 1.10:1 to 1.20:1. A device of the type shown in FIG. 1 is suitable for dispensing the toothpaste.

Abstract: Toothpastes containing 10 to 60% by weight of a polishing agent, 2 to 20% by weight of a humectant, 0.5 to 5% by weight water-soluble consistency regulators, 0.02 to 0.5% by weight antibacterial biguanides and 1 to 5% by weight other additives from the group consisting of surfactants, flavoring oils and sweeteners show particularly high biguanide availability if they contain predominantly .alpha.-aluminium oxide trihydrate as the polishing agent, nonionic polysaccharide derivatives as the consistency regulators, an alkyl glycoside and, optionally, a nonionic solubilizer for the flavoring oil as surfactants and L-aspartyl-L-phenyl alanine methyl ester as sweetener.

Abstract: Oral and dental care preparations containing polysaccharide-splitting enzymes, particularly dextranase, contain alkylglycosides, preferably those corresponding to the general formulaRO--(C.sub.6 H.sub.10 O.sub.5).sub.x --H,in which R is an aliphatic radical of a primary C.sub.8-22 fatty alcohol and --(C.sub.6 H.sub.10 O.sub.5).sub.x --H is an oligoglycoside group having an average degree of oligomerization x of 1 to 10 and preferably 1 to 3, as enzyme-compatible and high-foaming surfactants with good wetting properties.

Abstract: Process for the conversion of an organophosphonic acid of the formula ##STR1## in which n=3-5 and R=H or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl, into an alkali metal or ammonium salt comprising reacting the moist filter cake which accumulates during the production of organophosphonic acids by known processes (water content 10 to 40% by weight) with anhydrous or concentrated aqueous alkali metal hydroxide or ammonia and exposing the paste formed, which has a water content of from 20 to 80% by weight, to intense shear forces in mixing, dispersing, or kneading units, water being removed from the paste under reduced pressure and with application of heat until the paste changes into a free-flowing powder.

Abstract: Substantially builder-free, liquid, suspension-stable multipurpose cleaning preparations containing abrasives, a surfactant base of mixtures of anionic surfactants or anionic surfactants and amphoteric surfactants, and water, and having a pH-value of from 5.5 to 9.5. These preparations can be used for cleaning hard surfaces of all kinds and in particular can be used as dishwashing detergents, multipurpose cleaners, scouring preparations and/or polishes.
